For those who are loking to board furry baby or daycare look up Happy Hounds Lodge. There are no “kennels” your babes are in packs obviously personality based & watched at all times. Rotations outside are on regular basis. Dog won’t eat or take meds no problem we find a way around it & work as a team. Lots of beds in every room & sheets washed 2x a day. Constant interaction with the fur babies. Eveything is very on top of. We take care of anything that pops up or comes with & leaves better. Happy Hounds Lodge is literally a house broken down from dogs from upstairs to basement. No one lives there. There is even an overnight shift person with dogs all thru night & still get rotated 2x during that time. Someone is constantly with the fur babies. Can’t recommend Happy Hounds Lodge enough!!! On top of everything!!!

I highly recommend Mariel Cline for mid day walks & vacations if she is offering vacation visits in Lovettsville. Mariel worked for me for 2yrs & was wonderful & the clients loved her. Official Closure Announcement
For the past 13 years, Furry Friends Pet Care has had an incredible run. We’ve been truly honored to care for your beloved pets, share in your families’ stories, and be part of so many wonderful moments. After much thought, and with deep appreciation for everyone who has supported us, we have decided that it’s time to turn the page and begin a new chapter.
With that, Furry Friends Pet Care will be officially closing its doors as of January 5, 2026.

Love watching these 2 play tug. Shelby is 11 now & she was 6 when she started boarding here. She still acts like a pup & also gets into things & chews them up everytime she is here! Lost a beautiful sea urchin this time. She keeps me on my toes. Rambo loves having a friend here to play with & keep him company. They are both very vocal when playing, not fighting.

Shelby is older & is one of my vip’s when i started boarding years ago. Rambo plays at home but not at dog park! When we go to dog park (not my favorite i hate dog parks but he has so much energy i try to run him) he focuses on fetch why I take him & socializing with the humans & when doing “his job” meaning he watches all dogs breaks things up when he thinks to rough in quiet way, watches all dogs & brings them back in etc. Truly amazing to watch him. At home a whole different dog & plays! Something about the dog park & has to do his job! So anyone who sees this video from us at dog park he does play & normal! 🤣
