We follow the 5 second rule. I put the palm of my hand on the pavement. If it us comfortable after 5 seconds, it is safe for their feet. Also watch for signs of fatigue and shorten walks if needed to keep your four-leggeds safe.

🌪🌪PLEASE check your Fence panels and gates BEFORE letting your pets out. It's windy! One downed panel out of sight CAN COST THEM THEIR LIFE! Take that extra minute, put a reminder note on the door...Check your yard! Do what's needed to keep them safe! It's your responsibility!
