We have a custom quail coop for sale, featuring a metal roof 5 feet off the ground and a waste catcher. The coop has two doors with a sandbox shelter. The asking price is $200. Furthermore, 10 5 week old quail 'pearl fees' are available for purchase at $5 each, already transitioned to adult feed and ready to go outside.

Alright, so after getting awesome advice, I'll slap some packing foam on the incubator, crank up the heat, and bump up the humidity a notch. Thanks for all the help, folks, you're lifesavers. I'll keep you posted when the eggs start hatching.

Fun fact for all quail raisers out there. They say 16-18 days for eggs to start hatching. I have hatched many eggs, and 18-23 days seems more accurate. Don't overstress the natural process.

Morning check on babys

So, fun story. Luke runs up this morning saying the quail are walking into the house. I had just opened the back door to let the dogs out and went about my morning routine. I head for the back door, and sure enough, there is a little line of quail walking into the house. Apparently, we didn't latch their cage last night. It was actually super cute, a bunch of pearl-fee quail coming in like it's cold out here. If we weren't getting ready for school, I would have taken pictures, but I'm thinking these quail are pretty tame little things.
