Chérie is ready for her forever home! Please share!

Chérie is an active, loving 5-year-old who thrives in an energetic, engaged home. She’s a training superstar — she has excellent off-leash recall, has earned Fast CAT points, and has passed her ACT 1 and ACT 2 in agility. While she can be dog selective, she tends to do well with larger, respectful male dogs given proper introductions. She is not suitable for a home with cats at this time. She adores people of all ages, though she’s best suited for children 8 years old and above.

Chérie loves walks, running, hiking, swimming, and playing with squeaky toys. After a day of adventure, she’s happy to curl up on the couch for snuggles. She’s good in the car and crate, though she’d much prefer sleeping in bed with her people. At 45 lbs, she’s the perfect mix of athletic, affectionate, and fun — ready for an active or sport-oriented home that will keep her mind and body engaged.

URGENT NEED FOR FOSTERS! DalRescue still needs up to six new fosters this week. Beautiful Pippin (male, 7 years old) needs an immediate new home. Cute little Dottie (female, 13 months old) needs a foster as soon as possible. Kairo (male, 4-5 years old) may be partially or totally deaf and needs out of the shelter. DalRescue cannot take any of these dogs without foster homes. Fosters save lives, in more ways than one. They provide a temporary home for a dog to live in and decompress in a stable, loving enviroment to prepare for placement in a "furever" home. If you have a place in your heart and your home for one of these special critters, please complete a foster application which can be found on our website (www.dalmatianrescueco.org) or send a note to [email protected]. Let's get these babies in a new home by Thanksgiving!
