Hank’s Pet Food Market was proud to sponsor this event. Peachy’s Animal Welfare Society raised over $7000 on Saturday night at our Raise the Woof Gathering for Good. The event, hosted by K9 Wisdom Dog Training and Enrichment Center was well attended and featured food from Tacqueria Del Rey Food Truck, Drinks from Locomotive Liquor and music by Lois and the Lantern! The Event was Sponsored by Hank’s Pet Food Market, K9 Wisdom and HIPAW. All proceeds go to Sneha’s Care Animal Shelter in Nepal toward the building of a new shelter. Thank you to the entire staff of K9 Wisdom and their husbands and all the volunteers for giving so much time and energy, especially Cat Lee, owner of K9 Wisdom. And to the PAWS board, as well. Thank you all for coming out on a Saturday evening to support this event!

It’s hard to believe that Jack hasn’t found his home yet. We thought for sure someone would swoop him up as soon as he became available after his jaw surgery. He looks so cute with his crooked smile now. He is still nervous of new people, but he accepts treats and just needs some patience in getting him to trust you.
