A few weeks ago I introduced you to Sugar. Here are a couple more pictures. The first one is when she and Jud were just getting to know each other. In the other one she was "trapped" behind the half open gate. Since then she has learned all she has to do is push with her nose if the door isn't open far enough. Before that, one time she tried to go through the bars. She couldn't quite make it and had to back out. It did make her mad though.

Meet Sugar! My tagline is "Cat Lady Without A Cat" That's not entirely true anymore but am not changing my tagline. I say I am doing long term foster care for Sugar (the reality is I adopted her). In March, my friend of many years had to move across country to senior living and couldn't take her 17 year old cat. She had adopted Sugar over 15 years ago and had no place for Sugar to go. I wasn't about to let Sugar go to the Humane Society!! I figured it was high time I introduce her to all of you. Jud (my dog) and I have adapted to having a cat join our little family. The 2 of them pretty much ignore each other, happily co-existing. Sugar is a sweet girl and pretty healthy for her age. No problems jumping up on the table, etc. She is my shadow anytime she's not sleeping. Loves head scratches and sleeping with me. I am starting a series of posts with photos starting with the day I picked up Sugar from Winnie. That was a hard day for Winnie and Jud was very anxious at first. Sugar didn't know what to think!
