Volunteer Spotlight
Our focus has always been on the pets but we also feed people! So many on our streets are hungry and Will and Becky West ( on each end) have been devoted board members from the start and weekly assembled food bags and distributed them at camps and on the street. Recently, at the current serve location on Tuesday nights at 10th and Market Streets, the serve numbers have almost doubled. Enter Brittany Price ( pictured in center) who heard our plea for 50 sandwiches for the serve. She and her children made the sandwiches and Brittany delivered them to the parking lot.
We have a weekly need for sandwiches and if you would like to help, please respond in the comments and we will be in touch.

Happiness is picking up a carload of donations from the wonderful Camp Furkids and then coming home to a friends porch drop! Thank you to all of our supporters who order off our Amazon Wish List, too. We couldn't do what we do without your donations.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES!!
Many have asked how they can help and we have had two opportunities surface in the last couple of weeks.
1. Weekly opportunity- we need volunteers to make 50 or so sandwiches on Tuesday for our 5:00 serve at 10th and Market. This is a good event for scouts, civic groups or families. The numbers of people being served has doubled. Everyone gets a snack bag and some food to take home like canned fruit, canned pasta or cereal. We are always in need of Slim Jim's, canned fruit, individual snacks like pop tarts, chips or nutrigrain bars.
2. We are looking for people to deliver bagged pet food to several pantries on a weekly basis and to make a few deliveries to some of our housed friends with pets.
If interested, please note in the comments and we will reach out to you with details.
