Basset Rescue of Kentuckiana The rescue is an organization and operates through fundraising, donations and adoption fees. There are adoption fees.

Fees cover spay/neuter, shots, micro chips, & vet care. All donations are welcome as the adoption fees don't always cover the vetting

The count says we are at 33 bags of shoes x 25 pairs = 825 pairs. Keep sending those shoes. We need to get a minimum of 100 bags. Off too a good start. Spotty Charlie says ahrooo for the shoes because it helps all his basset buddies get the much needed care they need to go to new homes. So we appreciate all the shoes. If you have shoes let us know where you are so we can give you a drop off point. Post on your next door, local yard sale pages. Tell your friends, neighbors and coworkers. Everybody has shoes.

Someone in Indianapolis is looking for a foster for his dog until they get on their feet & find a rental that takes pets. He needs this asap. They do not want to give up their dog just need some help.

Hubert the hound He is around 3-4. He’s a very vocal dog but extremely friendly. He loves car rides and people. He was not fond of cats but mostly ignores them or barks if they get too close. He also loves attention but not sharing it. He only barks though. He has been around a beagle for several years.

The beagle is named Puppy
He is 5-6 years old.
He is epileptic. He averages one seizure every 3-4 months. They last a few minutes and after about 10 min he’s back to running around. He is very timid but also very loving and gentle. Other than being shy around strangers and scared of cars he does extremely well in every scenario we’ve been in including with cats and children.

The basset hound is named Hubert the Dog. He is around 3-4. He’s a very vocal dog but extremely friendly. He loves car rides and people. There is no medical issues with him that I know of. He was not fond of cats but mostly ignores them or barks if they get too close. He also loves attention but not sharing it. He has been around a beagle the last few years. He is currently in kennel
So He needs a foster/adopter asap.
