It is with great sadness that we share that Rich passed away Monday evening. We send the family and former employees of Southside Pet Shop our deepest condolences.

Richard N. Gent, age 74, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, February 24, 2025. Richard was born in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey on October 25, 1950 to the late Andrew Gent and Dolly Wagner Gent. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He made a lasting
