Happy Valley Pet Memorials Bringing our beloved companions back home from memories 🐾🌈

In Happy Valley, they frolic through golden meadows, lit by the sun and a shining moon.

The end of the rainbow bridge is littered with pawprints and stardust

A personal piece for my home, a homage to an innocent soul I met many years ago, who'm I call "Baby". Baby was a gorgeous brown cat that impacted my life in a special way, and I have struggled for many years to make an art piece for him. Today, I finally made and finished it.
Not only did Baby teach me something about myself during our time together, but the process of painting Baby has made me a better artist. Here's to you, my little astronaut ❤️‍🩹🍂

Today marks 2 years without my loveable purr-ball, Vegeta.
There's still some days where I half expect to hear his rumbly meow at feeding time, and I wish that he was sprawled out in front of our fireplace when we light it. Never was there a sweeter cat than him, even making eye contact with him across the room would set his purr engine to full volume. I hope there's someone on the other side giving you extra treats and chin scratches today my love, I miss you dearly over here ❤️‍🩹

These sweet boys are finally on their home voyage! They have held my studio and my attention for much of the past year and I'm honored to have been a part of their story.

This bonded pair will always hold a special place for me here, a million thank yous to their loving family for trusting me to recreate them🧡🤍🖤🐾

Hello everyone!

With the start of this new year, I am once again opening my pet memorial sculpture commissions. I will be detailing an update to my services further down in the post, to allow myself space to take on more commissions throughout the year.

I would like to first thank every family who has entrusted me with their beloved friends. The love for a pet is so vast, and I've seen and felt that love with every creation that's left my studio since the beginning of this journey. My motivation for continuing to provide this work for families is my empathy for pet loss, and my ability to create art that aids in the healing process. No love in this life is greater than that between an animal and their human.

With that, Happy Valley Pet Memorials is approaching its 2nd year of service, which pre-dates this page, and I'm so grateful to have grown it this far!

UPDATE:
I've made many revisions to my services throughout this journey, to which I'll disclose here. From here on, the size of my sculptures will range in price, to create affordable - but no less beautiful- options for every family. The prices listed are approximate but as close to general accuracy without the insertion of final shipping costs. These prices also reflect one sculpt of each size. The sizes I will have available are listed and priced as :
4 inch sculpt - 60usd
8 inch sculpt - 120usd
12 inch sculpt - 200usd

*the photos attached to this post showcases each size, with labels*

CREMAINS:
With each of these size options, I will continue to offer to incorporate the ashes of a pet into the clay, at no additional cost. I have had several families request designs, specific placements, or just the simple mixing of ash and clay to house their pet. I do not offer urn sculptures at this time, but will be adding that to my services in the future. If there are remaining ashes after a sculpt is made, they are always wrapped carefully and sent home with the finished piece. I have a variety of mica powders that can be entwined with the cremain clay as well, upon request.

SCULPTURE TYPE:
During the time that I have not had commissions on my table, I have been working on reference pieces to showcase every form of pet that can be had. From invertebrates, to rabbits, to birds, and many more; I have picked a different structure for each animal to create a visual of the options I can provide. With anything from stand alone sculptures to hand built displays that nest the pet in a personalized and fitting way. The photogallery on this page allows every family to hand pick the blueprints for their companion as well as create something entirely new if requested! I offer both verbally illustrated and visual drafts to ensure your image of your memorial is exactly what comes home to your door.

TIMELINES:
With the structured sizing chart installed and my supplies requiring a set curing time, I will now hold to a 12 week minimal processing time from the start of the base to varnished paint layer. This allows me to customize each pet to the best of my abilities, while each family receives updates as regularly as requested.

While the eventual goal for my memorial page is to switch over to a website, I will continue to add and tether all of my work to this page, and am grateful for reviews, recommendations, and post shares that will help me reach more families

Max and Ruby are complete! These two are based off a set of budgerigar bird hatchling specimens, that I adopted this year for my memorial shelf. One albino and one standard, as the chicks were one of each🤍💙🐦

These two are the start my portfolio, which will be a folder available on this page for future families.

Here's a photo shoot for Roscoe, my ambassador for Happy Valley Pet Memorials. Roscoe was gifted to me by a dear friend, and given a name, a new collar, and a brand new ball - because dogs deserve the world. I've spent a year blueprinting and building this memorial for him and I'm pleased to say he's finally complete.

Roscoe is showcasing a form of memorial service that I hope to offer in the coming year, for all pets! I've poured my heart into every detail, and will do so again and again for every pet who comes to my studio.

Roscoe was a stray dog in life and was sourced post mortem. He is not and will not be for sale at any point.

As Samhain draws closer, my home feels more full with all the critters and creatures that I've met and collected over the years.
Along with my pet memorial work, I collect and clean animal skulls - as seen in my recent posts. I welcome the departed year round, with loving arms, be they wild, stray, or domesticated.
Over the past two years, I've adopted one living cat [a spoiled rotten orange tabby] and 6 urns of both stray cats and surrendered reptiles. I light a candle every Hallows eve for the small souls who wander, and those who call my home their forever.
Memorial work and grief help does take a toll on me from time to time, but there's healing in it. I'm honored to have aided every pet parent and family who has trusted me with their fur babies. This coming year, I'll be expanding my services to provide more memorial diversity, and show that every facet of grief is valid, regardless of what society thinks💚

And with some final touches, Blu and his memorial are finished. I've fallen in love with the process of these natural memorials; every single step is done by hand, be it mixing the faux soil, stripping and placing the plants, and creating small details that show a life's story without words. In the final image, a small sleeping cat sculpture rests in a mossy nook adjacent to Blus' skull - a replication of what Blu may have looked like in life.
This edition conjoins my natural art and my sculpted memorials services, something I would love to offer to families from this point on, alongside my traditionally sculpted likenesses.

With my recent re-opening of Happy Valley Pet Memorials I have expanded to all types of pets! I'm currently working with a bird sculpture, and starting my first dog!
Being a one person business means every piece takes weeks to make, but trust that I am treating every detail with the utmost care that your companion deserves.
Below will be a current list of the animals that I intend to have sculpted this year, to add to a base portfolio on my page. This portfolio will be public for every pet parent who seeks my service to see the work they'll expect to receive.

▪︎Parrot [example: budgerigar]
▪︎Snake [example: ball python]
▪︎Fish [example: betta or goldfish]
▪︎Ferret [example: standard sable]
▪︎Lizard [example: bearded dragon]
▪︎Rabbit
▪︎Rat
▪︎Hamster

This list can be updated with additions brought to me via dms [because I accept any and all unsolicited pet pictures 24/7] or any commented on this post! These are common pets and will be made much smaller than my standard memorials to save supplies and space in my studio.
