On his way to get a urine sample for the vet 🐕 ✨
Urine samples are one of the simplest (and most useful) tools we have in veterinary medicine.
They help us check for:
• Urinary tract infections
• Early kidney disease
• Bladder crystals or stones
• Diabetes or other metabolic issues
• Blood or protein that shouldn’t be there
A lot of the time your dog will just p*e on a walk and we can catch it with a clean bag or cup — no needles, no stress. Sometimes we need a sterile sample via cystocentesis, but free-catch works great for a lot of screening.
So if your pup is suddenly drinking more, p*eing more, straining, or just not feeling quite right, let us know right away!! 😄
