What a year 2025 was!! This year we had the privilege of performing nearly 450 surgeries 🤯🤯, and we’re truly grateful for the trust, teamwork, and support from our amazing partner clinics and pet families.

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year — and what an amazing year it’s been! 🐾

We’re so thankful to have Riley and Kelsey on our team. Your dedication, positivity, and willingness to jump in and help wherever needed has made such a difference to our patients, clients, and our business. Not to mention the weird and fun car conversations that are had between clinics. We can't imagine having picked two better people to share this journey with!

This patient came to us with a large, growing mass over the tarsus (ankle). After careful planning, our team at Kentucky Veterinary Surgery performed a precise surgical removal of a benign lipoma — and the difference speaks for itself.

Every pet we meet gets treated like one of our own 💕

This sweet pup was all smiles (and kisses!) for Dr. Bruce before surgery, and got extra snuggles from our team while an IV catheter was placed. You can see he doesn't even mind! Our goal is always to make every patient feel calm, safe, and loved — because great surgical care starts with trust and compassion. 🐾💚

It's a big reason we love partnering with the local clinics (like ). Patients are more comfortable coming to the hospital where everyone knows them and treats them like family.

If I had to lose a bet and if my Chiefs had to lose, then I guess it's better lose to the kind of people who spend their lives helping pets and having fun. Congrats to .j_animal_dermatolgist and the staff of on the win. Hope the two teams get to play against each other again this year!

✨ Before & After: Breathing Easier! ✨

This sweet Persian kitty was born with tiny nostrils (called stenotic nares) that made every breath a struggle—like trying to breathe through a straw. 🐾

We performed a simple corrective surgery to gently open the nostrils, and now this little one can breathe comfortably and enjoy life without the constant effort. 💨🐱

Procedures like this can make a huge difference in quality of life for flat-faced breeds like Persians, Pugs, and French Bulldogs. We are so happy to see this kitty resting, playing, and just being a cat again—without struggling for every breath. ❤️

😿 Before surgery – look how tiny this kitty’s nostrils are. Breathing was a real challenge, like trying to get air through a straw.

Photo 2 – Halfway (one nostril corrected):
🔄 Halfway there – the nostril on the right has been gently opened, while the left one is still unchanged. You can really see the difference!

😻 After surgery – both nostrils are open and this sweet kitty can finally breathe with ease. Happier, healthier, and ready to enjoy life!

And last but certainly not least! Our BIG winnners They were treated to Chick Fil A breakfast with lots of other treats. We will also be making a donation to their charity of choice. And as the TOP DOG of our challenge - they get an extra special treat that we are excited to share at a later date!

Congrats everyone! We really enjoyed this and can't wait to do it again next year!
