Hughes and Hounds We are opening up my heart and home to anyone needing a dog sitter. I know a lot of people don’t like the idea of taking their dog to be boarded.

We provide trustworthy dog sitting services for families needing someone to watch their dog while they are taking a weekend getaway or a week long vacation all in the comfort of our home. It can be expensive and the dogs don’t get the attention they deserve. My husband and I have a fenced in back yard, lots of toys and treats and a lot of love to give while you are in need of someone to watch your

best friend. We go to the park multiple times a week too, so your pup will be able to get a lot of energy out. I should also add that I work first shift and my husband works third shift, so your dog will never be alone! Please let me know if you or someone you know is in need of a dog sitter! �

****We would also request proof that your dog is up to date on all shots and what not as well.

****Pricing right now is $50 per day for one dog and $75 per day for two dogs!

As some of you all know, Zach and I are going through a season in our life where we are needing to just focus on us as a family. We have made the decision to put Hughes and Hounds on hold for this time. To those of you who I have reached out to personally, thank you for understanding 🤍

I want to thank all of you who have trusted us over the last few years to watch and care for your fur babies. Out of all the places in Louisville you can take your pets to, I don’t take it lightly that you choose us 🤍

This post is for all future bookings. The weddings that we have already scheduled, will still hold their dates 🤍

Spring is right around the corner and we have gotten a lot of inquires recently 🤍

A few changes since we launched 2 years ago. Zach is no longer working third shift. He works first shift (yay!) That being said, we do require dogs to be crate trained. This is for their safety when Zach and I are both needing to leave the house.

Zach gets home a lot sooner than I do. However, I always make time to come home on lunch breaks to take my dog out if Zach is working a little later than usual. And if we are watching your dog, they would also get a little walk in mid-day!

We do our absolute best to make sure your dog is taken care of, loved and safe while we are taking care of them. Safety is our number one priority always, so I hope you can understand the requirement of being property crate trained.

I am a huge advocate for crate training your dog. It should be their place of safety, not their place of punishment.

Soooo happy (almost) spring!! We can’t wait to extend our services to you and your pup!
