I wanted to make a post and let everyone know that I was just diagnosed with a few congenital heart defects that’s causing low blood oxygen levels and very high blood pressure. My heart isnt getting enough oxygen causing it to work harder. It also dramatically increases my risk for stroke and right sided heart failure. I’m on 10lb weight restriction at the moment which means I can’t groom any dogs over 10lbs unless they will get into the tub themselves. I’m also having to cut back on how many dogs I can take due to stress because the cardiologist said stress can cause further myocardial strain. I hope all my clients understand I have to put my health first. I have another appointment next week to discuss treatment options which will more than likely be surgery to close the hole and aneurysm. I’ll keep all of my clients updated. 🩷
