This is “Pitty Pablo”. I found him running on 72 last December. He lived here for almost a year. I didn’t have the heart to bring him to the pound knowing what they do to Pitbulls. He finally has a forever home. I’m so grateful to Mama Baker for taking him in and showing him the love he deserves!! Happy Holidays “Petey”!!! Hoping you love your new home!!!

LOOKING TO HELP OUT VICTIMS OF HURRICANE HELENE...

I've been in contact with someone who can help get necessary items up there. We will be taking any and all donations up sometime at the end of next week.

Being I own a boarding facility there are also animals in need. I know water is a very big concern believe it or not. No electricity to pump water in their wells and no city water. Dog food, Cat food, Horse food, Bedding, Shavings, Towels, Sheets, Bowls, etc.
Anything you can think of...Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, etc.

Here are the details if you'd like to contribute...

Please drop off all items here at Tellico Bed and Biscuit. 13500 Vonore Road, Loudon, TN. 37774. If you are donating towels, sheets, things of that nature please put in a garbage bag and mark what's inside. Will not have time to rummage through things. When you come up the driveway please go around the back of the building and look for an open garage door. Donations are not to be brought into the office. Donations will be accepted during our business hours which are 9:00 am to Noon and again 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Please have all donations here by 8:00 pm 10/8. Will need a day to load trailer and then will be heading up.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...SHARE THIS POST. THE MORE THE PEOPLE KNOW THE MORE HELP WE CAN PROVIDE.

EDIT TO ADD:

Fencing supplies for our farmers would be huge, baby formula sensitive stomach (shelves here are pretty well cleaned out) batteries and flashlights, tide pods (they are easier for search and rescue to hike with up into the mountains to those who can’t get out yet, razors shaving cream, shelf stable milk, towels, specifically manual air mattress pumps.

A customer is caring for a momma and a pup that she believes were dumped in Tellico Plains. Looks like a Pyrenees mix. If anyone can help find a loving home for these guys please reach out.

Did you know that animal rescues operate solely off the kindness of strangers? Strangers to care for animals they didn't raise. Strangers to feed them and tend to their ailments. Strangers to donate their time, energy and money.
We have almost everything covered. But we are just starting out. We need to get some funds rolling in so the Alabama 5 can get healthy and move on to their new homes. We have more animals to help!

PLEASE HELP FIND KENNY A HOME!!!!!!!!!

Male Pit Bull - Possibly 6 years old - Needs Rehabilitation and Adoption/Fostering

Was picked up off the streets of Chicago and kenneled for three weeks when my daughter and I started to foster him. We were told two weeks and have had him for 3.5 years.

We don't believe he was ever in a home before. He did not know the word WALK and seemed to be afraid of the dark. He would take any bones we gave him and hide them for later. So sad.

We do know he does not like men, other animals and would not recommend being around children. He does do well with slow introduction as we did get him used to my ex-husband. He has nipped at a couple people and has bitten twice. He is very aggressive when he sees other dogs. I have taken him to some training but quit when he went for the trainer.

On the other side, he is a very loyal and loving dog. He is absolutely sweet, obedient and docile within the home with people he trusts. He loves to sit on my lap, play hide and seek, loves to grab my shoes after a walk to tease me or even grab the lease like he is walking me! He has never chewed anything, doesn't jump and listens very well. He will sleep in until I get up in the mornings and likes to guard me by sitting 6 feet away facing the door. He doesn't have any bad habits except for his aggressiveness.
