Say hello to the newest Prospect Canine, “Fury”.

He’s a 12mo imported Malinois that we picked up from a friend that’s had him for a bit on Sunday.

He takes a bit to warm up and earn your trust, the pictures pretty much sum up his process. But once you’re in, he’s all in. He’s with Rebecca for a couple of weeks to evaluate him and create a training plan. Then he’ll move on to Anthony in NJ who will, no doubt, see what we see over this dog’s potential and do amazing work with him.

I, actually we (Rebecca & Nick) loved him pretty much instantly, because he’s made us work for it in the best ways. I kinda wish he was staying local, but we’re excited for this dog’s future!

First cold building search today

Start in the hallway, maybe check out a little bit of the blank room and then move to the hot room

Hot room is small and the decoy is buried in the corner

Once the dogs nose take him in a small hole in corner then he’s able to penetrate and go for the bite

But they can’t see or go for the bite until they penetrates into the hole on odor

While I covered a detail today, and Mike introduced Prong Pressure for OB stuff to the patrol class, and of course more muzzle intro too. Love this class/group!! Thanks Rebecca for volunteering to help us each week.
