🐾 Our passion goes beyond Perfect Pet Resort. ❤️

At Perfect Pet Resort, we have always been passionate about helping animals, especially those who have been overlooked, abandoned, or in need of a second chance. Supporting rescue organizations and the people who dedicate their lives to helping animals is something that means a lot to us.

For us, this fundraiser is personal.

While visiting Dominica, owner of Perfect Pet Resort, Elizabeth Chaney, met a dog named Luella. What started as a chance encounter turned into a journey to bring her home. Saint Nicholas Animal Rescue Dominica helped care for Luella and provided the support and guidance she needed to make that journey possible. Today, she is happy and healthy.

Because of that experience, we know firsthand the difference this rescue makes for animals in need.

But right now, Saint Nicholas Animal Rescue is facing a major challenge: the shelter does not have electricity.

We are raising $17,500 to help bring electricity to the shelter and improve the environment for the animals and the people caring for them.

Electricity would help provide:

💡 Lighting throughout the shelter
🔒 Improved security for the animals and staff
🧼 Enhanced sanitation and cleaning capabilities
🐾 Better animal care, allowing staff and volunteers to care for the animals more safely and effectively every single day

Saint Nicholas Animal Rescue works tirelessly to rescue, shelter, rehabilitate, and provide second chances to animals who are sick, injured, abused, abandoned, and in need of care.

We want to help them continue doing that work.

Reckless is all smiles and loves spending time with people. Whether she's enjoying a long walk or soaking up the sunshine, she's happiest when she's by your side.

Mona is a sweet girl who loves attention, enjoys a good snack, and is known for her adorable happy dances that are guaranteed to make you smile.
Ideal Home:

🐾 A quiet, loving home where they can stay together and enjoy their golden years side by side
Fenced yard preferred
🐾 A family that gives plenty of affection, time for leisurely walks, outdoor time, and lots of cuddles
🐾 A calm, comfortable environment where they can settle in and feel safe
🐾 A home without other animals. Although they get along with most dogs and currently live with 2 dogs and a cat, they prefer to be the center of attention without the competition of others. *Homes with other animals may still be considered and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis*

These girls are great, easy companions that only want love (and food) – awesome TV-watching partners, office mates, walking buddies. Older ladies with a pep in their paws!
