Merida is possibly looking at surgery after three vet bills already, and we’re pairing with Shes Highest Healing 🧘‍♀️ for a fundraiser to help cover her care. Entry is free, and there will be sales, donations, and an opportunity to learn more about these incredible animals. Meet and learn fun facts and care tips on multiple different species of snakes, frogs, and lizards with hands-on opportunities with some species!
Donations are not tax-deductible, but every contribution makes a difference. We hope to see you there! ✨
For the safety of our animals and yours we request pets excluding service dogs stay at home for this event ❤️

Meet Syrax
Rescued May 2026

Syrax is a female Clown Ball Python hatched February of 2026 making her 6 months old now.

When Syrax arrived she was extremely malnourished with very weak neck muscles and a very prominent spine.

Since arriving Syrax has been on an every 5 day feeding schedule and has never turned down a meal!

Syrax came in weighing 120 grams. Today she weighs 260 grams !! She has had two sheds with us! The first a little broken but the second an absolutely beautiful solid masterpiece!

As to be expected Syrax has issues with her feeding response and often mistakes her handlers as food. She is definitely getting stronger and we are working towards tap training and associating a difference between feeding time and handling time! It is still undetermined whether her temperament will be stable enough to be an educational ambassador in her future.
