🚨 URGENT RESCUE PLEA — 3 SMALL TERRIER MIXES NEED RESCUE BY FRIDAY 🚨

We are desperately looking for a rescue organization willing to help three small terrier mixes. They have been with us since late July, and unfortunately, their time is running out. They must have placement by this Friday 9/4/26.

These three dogs are extremely shut down and fearful in the shelter environment. We have developed a behavior modification plan for them, but with our limited staffing we simply cannot provide the intensive, one-on-one decompression and confidence-building they need.

Handling has been difficult and has required towel management, with some fear-based snapping. They have also had some scuffling with each other, particularly in confined spaces, so separate foster placements would be ideal. Their behavior appears to stem from fear and stress rather than true aggression.

They need a rescue willing to give them time, patience, and a safe environment to decompress and learn to trust. ❤️

🐾 Best Friends Animal Society is providing support to help offset the costs of care for a rescue organization able to take all three dogs.

We have a short video available for rescues interested in seeing how they are currently doing.
