We are LIVE 🎉

Shmoop didn’t happen overnight.

About eight years ago, I started dreaming about creating a product line of my own.

I was deep in the world of grooming and learning everything I could about skin, coat, hydration, and what actually makes a dog feel good in their skin. My teacher Michelle Knowles would eventually become my guide for how we formulate Shmoop.

The more I learned, the more I realized there was so much room to do things better.

The products I was using weren’t made by groomers. And I kept thinking, what would I make if I could start from scratch?

But I wasn’t ready yet.

I wanted to build the salon first, get that in a stable place and then go for it.

And eight years later, Shmoop is finally here.

We’re starting with something I know very, very well: the brush out.

The Shmoop Brush Out Kit is our first little beauty ritual for dogs:

We also have a cuuuuute deshedder for the short coated Shmoops.
