Hey guys so the one thing I didn’t mention is I was on my way to Florida to say good bye to Rochelle. I didn’t make it. 🥺 I got as far as Texas and now we are stuck in middle of multiple storms/tornado’s. We seem to be on the outer band of the tornados as of this moment but are stuck here. It’s not safe to get on the road home at this point. So there will be NO GROOMING tomorrow. The store will be open normal hours. Sorry for inconvenience. 🌪️🌪️🌪️🌪️

In 11 years of posting for the store this is the post I never wanted to do. With the saddest of hearts I’m sorry to say my mentor, and my best friend got her wings today. For others Rochelle wasn’t the easiest to deal with but to me she was everything. Long before birds her and I were friends. She supported a charity I ran and always had a smile and kind words. In 2011 I went to see her store and yes walked out with a bird (Oliver my greenwing) little did I know 2 years later I would be the new owner of the store. She trusted me, had faith in me and was always proud of me. She use to say “go give them hell” I lived everyday to make her proud. To show her she made the right choice in me. All my accomplishments were her accomplishments. All the milestones were her milestones. All the ups and downs we shared together. I never made a decision there without consulting with Rochelle. She supported everything I wanted to do there. She gave me the life I have by giving me the store. I will forever be grateful for her friendship, love and support. To all of Rochelle’s customers thank you so much from the both of us for all your love and support over the years. This is truly a great loss for us and the industry. To Felipe she loved you too and was so proud of you and everything you did to help make the store what it is today. I am so grateful for you as well. We will continue together in her name. R.I.P my dearest friend and thank you for EVERYTHING. 💖💖💖 💔
