The arena is quiet.

I stay close to the edges, light on my feet, watching everything. I don’t make sudden moves. I wait, I listen, I find the safest place… and I stay there.

There’s noise in the distance, but I don’t go toward it. I’m not here for chaos. I’m here to make it through, gently, carefully, one step at a time.

I find someone I trust. I stay near them. Not too close, just enough.

Well… it is kind of me.
But they named me after her, so I felt like I had to set the scene.

The real me is a little less survival mode, a little more soft life.

I’m small, sweet, and very into being comfortable. I like calm energy, cozy spots, and being near someone who feels safe. I don’t rush into things, but I always find my person… and then I stay close, or if ok with them even right on top of them 🤭.

I’m really good at reading the room. With people, with dogs, with everything. I give space when it’s needed, I settle in when it feels right. No drama, just easy.

Think slow mornings, warm light, maybe a quiet drive, then home to do nothing together. That’s kind of perfect to me.

I don’t ask for much.
Just something that feels safe, soft, and right.

The mission is simple.

I move fast. Very fast. One second I’m here, the next I’m parkouring off your couch like I’m in an action movie nobody approved.

There are things to investigate. Hands to nibble. Dramatic entrances to make. I approach life with the confidence of someone who has never paid a bill a single day in his life.

…okay wait.

That’s not a character.
That’s literally just me.

I’m Arlo.

I’m playful, fearless, slightly chaotic, and fully convinced every living creature I meet is about to become my best friend. I love people, I love dogs, and I treat every room like it was specifically designed for me to sprint through it.

Maybe some chihuahua, maybe some corgi, maybe some dachshund… honestly nobody really knows. I do have the longer body though, so clearly somebody fun was involved.

But once I finally run out of battery, I’m ridiculously sweet. The type to crash next to you like we’ve known each other forever.

Life is exciting and I personally think we should make it everybody’s problem together.

Bonjour, I’m Betsy.

I was born in Biarritz, France.
No, there’s no paperwork, but I think we can all agree it checks out.

I bring a very specific energy: beach walks, ocean breeze, and the quiet confidence of someone who absolutely could be drinking Pinot Noir right now… but is choosing to sit on your lap instead.

My favorite movie is Ratatouille, which feels on brand. And yes, I do love cheese. Deeply.

I’m extremely social. Like, we go outside and suddenly I have new friends social. I love people, I love attention, and I will gently place my paws on your lap when I’ve decided it’s time. It’s not a suggestion.

I walk pretty well on leash (just a tiny bit of enthusiasm here and there), and when it’s time to relax, I actually settle really nicely. Leave me with a dog bed and I’ll just… lounge. Effortlessly.

I currently share space with a small senior chihuahua and, yes, I am respectful. I contain multitudes.

I do have a bit of that classic Frenchie sensitive skin situation, so I’ll need someone who keeps me feeling my best. Beauty is a commitment.

Overall, I’m just a very sweet, easy, affectionate girl who somehow feels like a vacation.

I know… I look like I just had three coffees.
I promise I’m just excited to see you.

I’m a 12 lb little guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I ended up at the shelter as a stray and have been waiting a bit now…

and I really, really hope it’s you.

I’m super friendly — I love people, I love other dogs, I just… love being around life.
You’ll notice I like to stay close — following you around, checking in, trying to climb into your lap. I just want to be near you.

Not wild, not rough… just a lot of love with nowhere to land yet.

I think I’ve never really had a place where I can fully relax.
What I need is simple: a home where I can decompress, feel safe, and finally settle into being someone’s dog.

Once I have that, I know I’ll soften into the sweetest little companion —
the kind that sticks by your side, curls up next to you, and just gets it.

I’m already neutered, healthy, and just need to gain a tiny bit of weight… nothing major, just a few extra treats (I’m very open to that).

I may come off a little busy at first…

Yes… I know. I’m beauty, I’m grace… and sometimes I’m upside down with my tongue out.

I didn’t exactly have a glamorous start. I came in as a stray to South LA Animal Shelter and ended up on the list no dog wants to be on… but some really kind humans believed in me, and now I’m here — ready for my real life to start.

And let me tell you… I have so much life to give.
I’m a goofy, affectionate, slightly dramatic (in a cute way) girl who lives for: – belly rubs (I will fully roll over for them) – peanut butter (say less) – walks, hikes, and being out in the world with you

I’ve got my favorite spots too… Playa Vista Bluffs, Ballona Creek, Westridge. I’m kind of an LA girl.

I’ve joined pack walks with other male dogs my size and really enjoyed them.
I like being part of things and feel happiest when I have someone to follow and trust.

I’m also a smart girl. I know sit, down, wait, take it, place… and I’m always down to learn more (especially if snacks are involved).
At home, I’m super respectful: – fully potty trained (not one accident, thank you very much) – not destructive at all – I sleep on my bed… unless I sneak onto the couch (I get down very fast, I promise)

I’m not a crate girl (it makes me feel a little trapped!) but honestly, I don’t need it

I’ve got a playful side too… rope toys, squeaky toys, and for some reason… cat toys?? obsessed.

On walks, I’ve got nice manners, though I can get a little startled if a dog suddenly charges a fence (fair, right?).
 With new people, I might play it cool for a second… but give me a moment and I’ll be belly-up asking for love.

Big personality… just a petite-for-a-lab-mix kind of girl.
I’m about 45 lbs of pure fun, and yes… I take my job as “bring joy everywhere I go” very seriously.

Car ride? I’m in. Pup cup? Obviously. Walk, hike, adventure, learning something new? Say less.

I’m still a teenage girl (10 months old), so I’ve got energy, curiosity, and just enough chaos to keep life interesting… but I also really want to learn. I already know sit, down, and I’m working on paw (and I’m very proud of it).

I love other dogs: big, small, all of them. I just assume everyone is my friend until proven otherwise. I also actually enjoy training and figuring things out, so I’d love someone who wants to teach me new tricks, guide me, and grow with me.

Yes, I woke up like this.
 Hair a little wild, tongue out, living my best life.

I’m a senior gentleman, which just means I’ve traded chaos for good company, cozy naps, and looking effortlessly cool in sweaters.

My life changed recently when my person could no longer care for me due to health reasons. I don’t really understand it… I just know I miss having someone around.

So now, I’m looking for a soft place to land.
 A home where I’m not left alone too much, where I can follow you from room to room, or maybe have a dog friend to keep me company.
I’ll be honest with you… I’m not perfect.
 I need a little dental care, and my skin is still healing from not being properly cared for before.
 But nothing major, just a little love and consistency.
And in return?

I’m about 2.5 months old, part of a litter of 6 that came into the shelter together, and I’ve decided I’m going to be one of the brave ones.

I’m curious, I’m learning fast, and I’m very food motivated… which basically means I will love you a lot if snacks are involved.

New things? I’ll check them out.
New people? Give me a second and I’m already coming closer.
Life? I’m ready.

They think I might be an Australian cattle dog mix… maybe a little corgi? No one knows for sure, but whatever I am, I come in a very cute, very compact package.

I’m still just a baby, so I’m learning everything from scratch.
Potty training, routines, toys, what it means to have a home.

But I’m the kind of puppy who’s eager.
The kind who will follow you around, watch everything you do, and slowly figure out how to be your dog.

ADOPT ME, I’m Chilli 🌶️

Well… that’s what my friends call me.

My real name is Achilles.
Very heroic. Very dramatic.

But around here the staff started calling me Chilli, and I think it fits. I’m warm, affectionate, and happiest when I’m close to the people I love.

I’m 4 years old, already potty trained, and I know some good-boy basics like sit, down, and paw. If you scroll through the photos, you’ll see I take the paw thing very seriously. I’m honestly a bit of a gentleman about it.

I love attention, I enjoy playing with other dogs, and I’ve even gone hiking on some doggy day outs and decided adventures are pretty great. I’ve met kids too and thought they were wonderful.

But if I’m being honest about something… I don’t love being alone all day. I’m the kind of dog who bonds deeply with his people. I’d probably do best with another dog friend or a home where someone is around more often.

And I know something else too.

I’m a black pit bull with pointy ears, and sometimes dogs that look like me get overlooked. But I promise you… behind those ears is just a sweet, loyal boy who wants to give someone his whole heart.

I’m the kind of dog who holds your paw.
The kind who looks up at you like you’re his whole world.

And I think I’m very worth the chance.

ADOPT ME, I’m Oscar 🖤

Some dogs want a couch.
Some dogs want a yard.

Me? I want a partner.

My name is Oscar, and I’m a young, handsome gentleman who’s already proven I can be a very good dog in the real world. I walk nicely on leash, I’m respectful, potty trained, and I take my job of playing fetch very seriously.

I’ve even gone on a few doggy day outs, and I got glowing report cards. I’ve gone for breakfast on restaurant patios, taken car rides, explored parks, and of course stopped for a pup cup along the way.

The truth is, I’m a smart and driven dog. I already know some basics, but I’d absolutely love someone who enjoys teaching and training. New tricks, games, maybe even dog sports… that sounds like the dream to me.

I’m very athletic too. So athletic, in fact, that I once scaled a 10-foot chain link fence. Not because I’m naughty — I was just bored and looking for something interesting to do. My brain likes challenges.

What I really need is someone who wants a thinking dog, a dog who learns, trains, explores, and grows with their person.

I’d prefer to be the only dog in the home, but I promise I’ll fill it with plenty of personality, loyalty, and adventure.
