AGWC Rockin' Rescues is an animal adoption center operating on behalf of dogs and cats who were rescued from various situations such a foreclosures, abandoned, and overcrowding at shelters. We are here to find them much deserving loving and caring human families. AGWC Rockin' Rescues is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. All the proceeds from our adoption center go directly to our animals!

TODAY: Stand for Justice for Odin ‼️

Today, members of the community are gathering to peacefully protest following allegations against Adam Rabinowitz, who advertises dog training and boarding services.

According to those involved in the case, Odin, a gentle pit bull, allegedly suffered catastrophic injuries while in Rabinowitz’s care on July 1. Supporters say Rabinowitz admitted to slamming Odin to the ground. Odin was reportedly left with internal injuries, paralysis, brain damage, and immense suffering before veterinarians made the heartbreaking decision to humanely euthanize him.

A neighbor has publicly stated that they heard the incident unfold and described hearing Odin’s desperate screams, cries, and whimpers for help—sounds they said were so devastating they have never forgotten them. Those allegations have deeply shaken many animal lovers in the community.

There is an ongoing police investigation, and a civil lawsuit has reportedly been filed. These allegations have not been proven in court.

If you believe animals deserve protection, accountability, and justice, please join us TODAY for a peaceful protest. Every person who shows up sends a message that the lives of animals matter and that allegations of animal abuse deserve to be taken seriously.

Harbor Animal Shelter is urgently seeking New Hope rescue partners, experienced fosters, or adopters for Winston ( ) and Sully ( ), two 4-year-old neutered Boxer mixes who came to the shelter together from the same home and are now on the Euthanasia Alert.

Reason for Euthanasia: Both dogs continue to exhibit signs of Fear, Anxiety, and Stress (FAS), remain wary of handling, and have a reported history of a bite to a person.

At-Risk Category: Y2
Last Day to Exit: 07/26/2026 by 5:00 PM
Scheduled Euthanasia Date: 07/27/2026

Available for: New Hope Rescue, Foster, or Adoption with Behavior Disclosure.

Despite the stress of the shelter environment, both Winston and Sully have shown improvement since arriving. Staff report they are easier to handle than when they first entered the shelter, and both have participated successfully in playgroups. Winston has been described as a sweet, playful dog who enjoys fetch, toys, and being with his people, while Sully is described as a sweet, silly companion who loves following his person, playing tug, and chewing on bones.

The shelter environment is taking a toll on these boys, and they urgently need the opportunity to decompress in an experienced foster, rescue, or adoptive home before their deadline.

Meet Grim, a 2-year-old English Bulldog currently at Harbor Animal Shelter. He ended up at the shelter after his owner was arrested and is currently on a hold. If he is not reclaimed, he is expected to become available for adoption on July 28.

The shelter environment has been very stressful for him, and we’re hoping an experienced adopter or rescue will step up when he becomes available.
