Hey there guys I am a dog trainer that specializes in managing or modifying behaviors in our canine companions and dog family members. I have had the pleasure and privilege of apprenticing under 3 separate mentors for years. A is dog neglect.

It is not fair to the development of the dog / puppy to leave them in the yard all day, all night, 24/7 with little human interaction besides corrections

It is important to provide mental, emotional, and physical stimulation for our dogs and puppies
🔥
Or you run into the risk of having a big ole sheepdoodle who likes to dominate other dogs - disinterested and avoidant of humans - and suffering from low impulse control and poor decision making skills

Now watch us work in the living room since he shuts down when on a leash outside whether it’s the front or back door.

Thankfully he’s been taken in by a new owner who is uber committed in changing this poor skinny guys life (they HAD to shave him too smh)

🚨 IS DOG ABUSE🚨
Is not a true unless you use the crate in abusive way.

Crates are a vital staple in so many aspects of life ranging from: travel, to pet care, to behavioral management and more
🐺
A lot of things can be preventable like vet visits caused by physical accidents to property damage (and sometimes it might not be your property)
🐺
Using crates should never be shamed or antagonized but welcomed and taught about so that dog owners and handlers as a whole have a better understanding as to why they are used and how to properly use them
🐺
If more people know how to use a crate. A lot more people will be able to point out when someone is actually abusing the privilege of a crate
🐺
Remember to work your dogs or they’ll work you - to build each other up not tear each other down ;)

if you have an aggressive or dangerous dog. Muzzle trained that dog. Keep your head on a swivel. Do not use a fu***ng harness.

If you have been victimized by dog attacks. You don’t have to be scared. You just have to be ready.
I always have a spare leash on me when I’m working in public (or a belt on)

You don’t need to teach your biting dog how not to bite lol

So many times the dog just needs you to put time aside and to just learn basic dog language

Dogs benefit from physical activity and breed specific fulfillment
🐺
That doesn’t mean you have to become a canine handler to fix your dog / pet
🐺
You need to create a schedule, handle basic structure, learn beneficial exercises, and apply yourself and your dog to them
🐺
That does not mean you have to create a super athletic dog that you can’t handle especially if it’s just supposed to be a pet and not an attack dog lol

Work your dogs or they’ll work you or they’ll make you drop 6k at an attack dog school

Yes you did something wrong by bringing an untrained dog or puppy onto a plane shared with other humans

The whole point as to why people spend so much money on service Dog Training. The whole point of the Americans With Disabilities Act. So that we can assist those that need the help, and maintain decorum in society. No one wants you crying or pooping dog next to them on an airplane.

Working out our young mix with the long line and high value rewards

We practiced everything first indoors with little distractions (especially since she likes to stare things down) and then we fabricated our own distractions to build her up

With some solid proofing and decent state of mind we’re pushing her with the 50ft leash

Working through her high prey drive and interests in other dogs successfully and at her pace essentially
