He’s been part of our LA’s Dog LA's Dog Trainer family for a while now, and watching him grow has been nothing short of amazing. From Puppy Great Start to Beginning Obedience to mastering agility 🏃‍♂️🐾 to building confidence through obedience training 🎓, Hobbes gives his all—every single time. He’s a rare breed called a Kooikerhondje (try saying that fast three times) 🐶, but what truly makes him special is his heart.

What an amazing 2025 Spring Spectacular at The Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College last weekend!!
Got to see old friends, instructors, classmates & other EATM grads & catch up on who's where & doing what with animals.
I can't believe I officially trained my first animal (a rat) 24 years ago and Gary Wilson gave me a big proud A!! I'm so happy for the experiences that made me the best dog trainer I can be!!
Thank you EATM & all the animals, friends, co-trainers, & instructors who make my life better every time I see you!!

Appa and Rrari are doing Board & Train with Jacqueline Gaillard and LA's Dog Trainer (8 years ago).
They will live as brothers, but both need to know how to play with other dogs. They are both in their socialization period and learning about dog behavior from many different dogs while doing Board & Train.
Whether it is Puppy Great Start, or beginning in your home, puppies need to socialize with other pups of different breeds, sizes, and ages to learn appropriate social cues & begin their journey with love and praise.
