Nugget update,
She has come so far settling in with the pack, the first 2 weeks she just hid in the corner with her tail between her legs.
Look at her now, playing with other dogs & even rolling on her back.
The shelters are over capacity & more stressful than ever.
Thank you all for caring.
Nugget is up for adoption & play dates.
This 1.5 yr old Shepherd mix was traumitized & shutdown a couple of months ago, and going to be euthanized.

Ash is a handsome, good natured Husky mix, even after being dumped because he was no longer a puppy he remained a kind & gentle soul. The problem really is not the animals.
After 5 long years, today is his day to shine, Ash went to his forever home.
Have a great life Ash, you deseve it !

Jerry is about 1.5 yo lab mix, recently adopted from a local rescue we work with, His new family wanted to work on a couple of basic commands for safety as well as get him more exercise & socialization, the pack & I were glad to help.

Happy Gotcha day !
3 years ago, we rescued Molly from the streets of LA.
Very scared, hungry & injured, Since then she has recovered from her trauma & become a important part of the team.
She gets along with everyone including the cats, helps exercise clients dogs & is a role model for our rescue dogs.

Rescued is our favorite breed.

They are full like so many of the shelters & rescues in Cali.

Rudy is approx. 3 yo, pittie, rescued from a very over crowded shelter last year, First time staying with us & hanging out with some of our guests.

Skip the kennel & your pets can stay with us.
Large back yard with room to run or just chilax in the shade.
Large dog run for dog's that need a little more time or their own space.
Cat's get the office to themselves.
All pets sleep inside at night and during severe weather/ fireworks.
All pets need to be spayed/ neutered, current on vaccinations & flea control.

Charlotte is the Pittie in the back, approx. 11 yo & always traumatized by fireworks, today we we're able to get her out with the pack for some fresh air & confidence building. Baby steps.

Maggie is approx. 2 yo Cane Corso mix, Don't let the cropped ears fool you, she is as sweet as they come.
Recently rescued, in a foster home, waiting on her forever home.
Maggie did daycare with us today and after a short & calm intro. had a blast with the rescue dogs.

Ozzie is approx. 2 yo Pittie mix, since being adopted, Mom needed to go out of town for a few days, So he's staying with us, Ozzie doesn't like many people or dogs.
After working with him a bit Ozzie is doing great with our dogs & is having a blast here at Camp Dawg !!!

Davy was recently adopted from a local rescue at just 4 months old, he & his siblings are what's called a oops litter, It's very important to teach new pet owners that dogs & cats can start reproducing as young as 4 months old, spaying & neutering is a great way to prevent so many oops litters from ending up at the shelters.
We helped Davy's new family with some basic puppy obediencne to help him with his new start in life, They are thrilled with his progress in just one session.

Gary is a 9yo Chi/ mix whos aggression was getting out of hand,
Another client referred his humans to us & our first session went very well today.
The main reason this session went so well is Garys humans are very good students & promptly put into play the postive psychology we shared with them.
Gary was much better behaved when friendly strangers walked by & didn't protest when the Amazon guy walked by.

Jersey is the Pitbull on your right, We work with all breeds.
After being adopted from a very overcrowded shelter he was returned 2 days later, claiming he doesn't get along with dogs. Say it loud so the people in the back can hear: The problem is not the animals !!!!!
After fostering him, his new human was smitten & determined that he not go back to a already over crowded animal shelter.
With one session Jersey showed a noticeable improvement & here he is Hanging out with the boys.

Zeus is a 1yo, GSD mix, just rescued from a very over crowded animal control facility, needed some help adapting to a wonderful new home with his new brother from another mother, Nikko a 2yo, GSD.
With a postive dog Psychology session, Zeus is acclimating well & bonding with everyone in his new home.
