Bunny Luv Rabbit Resource Center BunnyLuv Rabbit Resource Center is a NON-PROFIT, 501(c)(3), NO-KILL animal welfare organization. We offer education, adoption, care, boarding and supplies.

We are here to help humans create and maintain a meaningful relationship with their domestic companion rabbits and to help keep their rabbits happy and healthy for optimum longevity and mutual enjoyment. We do this by:

Providing information free of charge to the public on ideal care for rabbits and on understanding rabbit behavior. Helping to reduce rabbit overpopulation and abandonment in Southe

rn California. Providing a safe haven for abandoned, abused and neglected rabbits as they await adoption into new homes.

🐰✨ Maternity Announcement! ✨🐰

Everyone, meet Kalilah, our newest rescue at BunnyLuv! 💕 This brave mama-to-be was found on the streets, and we got her into our care just in time. When she arrived, we noticed her little belly was extra round and after a vet visit, we got the big news... she’s expecting! 🐇👶 We’re preparing for 5-6 baby bunnies to arrive soon!

While we’re still working hard to spay/neuter our last batch of buns from last year, we’re so grateful Kalilah is safe, warm, and loved as she gets ready to welcome her babies into the world. She’s got all the hay, snuggles, and peace she needs for a calm, cozy delivery. Stay tuned for baby updates!💗

⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING: Graphic Eye Injuries ⚠️

Meet Thor 🐰⚡—Tiny But Mighty!

At just 12 weeks old, Thor has already survived more than most. His owner surrendered him to an L.A. shelter without providing any vet care—even after their dog attacked him. He arrived at the shelter with severe bite wounds, a proptosed eye, and facial trauma, in excruciating pain but still fighting to live. 💔

We rescued him just in time, and now Thor needs all of us to help him heal. His jaws are pretty swollen, and we’re hoping nothing is broken.

🏥 Medical Update:
👁 Right eye: Gone—will need surgery.
👁 Left eye: Injured but might be saved.
💊 On antibiotics, pain meds, & eye drops.

Thor’s road to recovery won’t be easy, and his vet bills are huge. We need your help to give this tiny but mighty fighter the care he deserves!

We have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to increase spay/neuter vouchers for L.A. City residents—but we need YOUR help!

❌ Bad news: The current proposal excludes rabbits from the voucher increase, even though they reproduce rapidly.
✅ Good news: We can still change this! The City Council can amend the proposal—but only if we speak up NOW.

URGENT: This sweet bunny needs a miracle!

This adorable brown lop is at SEAACA and will be euthanized if he doesn’t receive a commitment by 2 PM on 3/7 and get picked up by 3 PM on 3/7. 💔

We at BunnyLuv are completely full and unable to take him in, but we are desperately hoping someone can step up to foster, adopt, or rescue him before it’s too late.

Our dear friend Cat Logsdon, who runs Zooh Corner Rabbit Rescue, lost everything in the devastating Eaton Fire in Altadena. She and the bunnies made it out safely, but sadly, their home and rescue were completely destroyed. We are coming together to support her during this heartbreaking time.

Gizmo is our newest little gremlin who’s been zooming, binking, and flopping non-stop! 😍 She’s the sweetest and most adorable girl, and she’s only been with us for less than a week! 💕🐰 We’re still in need of funds to help with spaying and neutering, so if you’re able to donate, it would mean the world to us! 🚨 Meet our newest rescue, this sweet little girl was found in desperate need of help. A concerned caller found her trapped in a carrier on the bed of a truck, out in the open with no food or hay, surrounded by p**p and suffering from severe fur mites. 🐰💔 The poor girl's carrier was padlocked, but thanks to the quick actions of the kind soul who reached out to us, she’s now safe and sound at BunnyLuv.
At around 8 months old, this little one has the cutest, wildest hair and unique fur colors. We’re treating her fur mites, and she’s getting the love and care she deserves. ❤️‍🩹🥰
We don’t have a name for her, so drop a comment with your best suggestions! Let’s find her the perfect name. We’ll need all the support we can get to help her heal and find her forever home. Thank you to everyone who’s always there for our rescues. 💌

Meet the newest members of the BunnyLuv family, all of whom were rescued from the devastating fires that swept through LA in January 2025. These brave bunnies have been through so much, but thanks to amazing rescuers and supporters like you, they’re now safe and thriving. 💖🐰

First up, we have Iggy (the sweet white rex mix) and Jett (the adorable black furball). Found together in the Hollywood Hills during the Sunset Fire, these two have been nothing but lovebugs since arriving at BunnyLuv. Iggy is still learning how to show his affection, but he’s already a master at nibbling fingers, and Jett is a little escape artist who loves attention and pets!

Next, meet Bunnicula, a brave girl who was found malnourished and dehydrated on the outskirts of the Sepulveda Basin fire. She has a congenital foot deformity but doesn’t let that slow her down. After receiving medical care and lots of love, Bunnicula is now a bouncy, happy bunny who loves her zoomies!

And last but definitely not least, Charlie St. Claire! This sweet 2-year-old was found roaming the streets and was severely sick with ear mites. After some TLC, Charlie has fully recovered and is now one of the most affectionate and cuddly bunnies we know!

These fire survivors are ready to find their forever homes, but they still need some extra love and care. Unfortunately, they still need to be spayed/neutered along with 9 of our other buns . With all of these new additions, we are in urgent need of donations to help us cover medical expenses and give these bunnies the best possible care.

Every donation makes a difference and brings us one step closer to ensuring these little ones have a safe, healthy future. 🐇💖

This year brought us an unexpected miracle—nine baby bunnies! 🐰💖 When we rescued mama Opal from a high-kill shelter, we had no idea she was pregnant. Soon after, she gave birth to 9 healthy, happy babies here at BunnyLuv!

In early 2025, mama and her little ones will be spayed, neutered, and ready to find their forever homes. 🏡 We can’t wait to see them start their next chapter with loving families!
