I’ll be 57 in two weeks. IDNC that my hair is too long for my age. It’s 100% natural no color no heat treating no chemical shampoo.  It’s a lot thinner than I’d like it to be because of menopause (thanks a lot). And I’m not gonna cover my greys, I earned them. But I prayed for my hair to grow long. And I love it. 

IDNC if people think I'm too fat to rock this outfit. I wore it anyway!!I also looked cute as HECK

I do not care that my mom and sisters think I'm crazy for getting myself a cake after my bilateral salpingectomy two weeks ago. I do not care that I am 37, single, divorced, never wanted and don't have kids, and live alone in a one-bedroom apartment with my books and instruments. I'm the weird tattooed librarian musician-in-training aunt and I am absolutely loving it.
This cake was so good and I ate half of it myself, froze a few pieces for later - and I do not care a lick if anyone gets it but me, hahaha. My surgeon laughed when I showed her a picture. 😆

IDNC that I am red and blotchy and have a new menopause belly or that my hair is thinning all due to my breast cancer treatment and instant menopause. I got on a plane and flew across the country by myself for the first time since having cancer to present at a conference that I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to attend. Menopause belly, sweatier, I still have some damn radiation fatigue but I did it and I did it without spanx or underwire bras and only wore comfy clothes because IDNC and I tried to laugh as much as possible.

-I do not care that I’m soon-to-be 52 and starting culinary school.
-I dnc that I was the first one present on day one.
-I dnc that because I’m tweaking my HRT I’m simultaneously on my period and in perimenopause and I cried a few times driving to school.
-I dnc that I am about to get bifocals because I cannot manage my readers’ put on/take off schedule and various location changes.
-I dnc that I don’t look great in my uniform because I’m heavier than I’d like.
-I lied-I do care a little about that last one! 👽

Hi ladies!!! We don’t care that I’m 46 and she’s 6 in the 1st grade. So many ppl talk s**t about older mothers and have no clue that I tried for 20 years to conceive and miscarried her twin in the womb. We out here living our best life and I’m riding with my broke bff til the world catches fire!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is my IDC chair. I sit and contemplate what I don’t care about.
My list for today is:
IDNC that IDNC about sports. I’d rather watch my dog chase a ball!
IDNC that I can’t fold a fitted sheet, even after watching the video 10 times.
IDNC that my clothes are covered in dog hair. I like my dog more than most people.
IDNC that I tell people I’m almost 80, then they tell me how good I look.
(I turn 79 in two weeks)
IDNC that I can still act like a 12 year old if I don’t want to do something I’m asked to do.
