Stray Cat Alliance Values:

Every cat’s life as worthy and deserving of human attention, compassion, dedication and action on its behalf. The sheer joy, the love and utter magic that cats bestow upon the human race. All cats equally, whether in a forever home or free-roaming in need of human care and assistance. The power of education and knowledge, combined with patience and determination, to invoke understanding and positive change in outreach assistance to help cats. Its decade of victories for the cats in the key areas of rescue, adoptions and uniquely, in Trap/Neuter/Return. Its record of returning every single call or e-mail for support with cat issues. The opportunity to advocate and positively influence perceptions about stray cats so numbers of supporters increase, along with the scope of such important work. The momentum of humane causes and how far they have come in this new millennium, and are excited about the future.

🎉 Coraline had her surgery Wednesday, and it was a success! 🎉

Thanks to you, we raised over $1,500 for Coraline and other cats like her. So many of you showed up for this tiny girl, and we are so grateful to every single person who gave and shared.. 💛

Coraline is recovering so well post-surgery! She’s being fostered by a Stray Cat Alliance team member who is making sure she has everything she needs, though honestly, she doesn’t need much extra care. She has acclimated so well already, and she is still feisty, playful, and full of life! We know nothing will stop this girl, not even blindness.

Many cats like Coraline come to us needing care. If you’d still like to help, your gift will be there for the next one who shows up at our door. 👉 Link in bio

For the last couple of years, our wonderful volunteer Eddie Lassen has created Día de los Mu***os artwork for us, and every year it takes our breath away. 🌼 This year’s piece features our beautiful Oaxaca, and it’s full of the color, warmth, and love that make this season so special to us. 🕯️🐈‍⬛
Eddie, thank you for the heart and artistry you share with our cats and our community. We are so lucky to have you. 🧡

We’re wishing you a Happy National Cat Day with an update from Baby Milo! 🐱🎉

Our newest little one is doing great and growing strong, and best of all, he’s found a foster! 🧡 Bottle babies come with a lot of needs, including round-the-clock feeding and care which is why fosters (and a purring, heartbeat cuddle cat, like the one in the video - sound up!) are so important. 🐾

Thank you so much to everyone who offered to foster, and if you’d still like to one day, please click the foster application link in our bio. You can make a difference for kittens like Milo.

Dolores Huerta spent more than 60 years fighting for farmworkers, immigrants, and women. She was the co-founder of the United Farm Workers and when she stood up for farm workers, she also stood firmly against factory farming, living her values with a plant-based diet. Thank you Dolores for showing us what a lifetime of compassion and dedication looks like. Sí se puede! 🕊️💜

Don’t let Erica’s RGF (resting grouch face) fool you. She’s thrilled to be out of the shelter! She is one of six healthy adult cats we saved last week from the South LA shelter. Kittens tend to get the spotlight, but when shelters run out of space, every animal is at risk, and adult cats need a way out just as much.

Erica is now in a great foster home, but it can be easy for cats to end up stuck in the foster limbo! Let's find this cutie her forever home. Apply today: straycatalliance.org/adopt
