Meet Santos ( ) one of South LA's longest residents.🥺

Santos is still just a baby, estimated to be around 1.5 years old.

This sweet boy has been patiently waiting for his forever family since November. He came to the shelter as a stray, and I'm honestly shocked he's still waiting. For such a young pup, he's been doing his best behind kennel doors.

Originally, I had signed up to take out a different dog that day, but due to a change in plans, I couldn't. As I was walking through the shelter, I spotted this cute boy from across the way, eagerly excited for anyone's attention.

When I learned he had been waiting , I just knew I had to take him out.

And honestly, I'm so glad I did.

This boy is incredibly sweet and has such a playful personality. It was such a joy getting to know him, and by the end of the day, it was impossible not to fall in love with him.

He deserves so much more than a kennel. Please share and help Santos find the forever home he's been waiting for. 🐾

🆘🚨LESS THAN 8 HRS LEFT MEDICALLY ALERTED! BEPPO NEEDS OUT BY TODAY, TUESDAY 6/16 @ 4PM!🚨🆘

Beppo still waits so posting him one more time. He desperately needs a hero ASAP!

Please help our friend, Beppo! He's a sweet, handsome 6 yr old boy who arrived at the shelter as a stray 1 month ago. Sadly, he's been kept inside medical so we only just got to meet him yesterday but he was the absolute loveliest pup! When he wasn't getting cuddles, he was showing off his "sit" in hopes of a treat.

He also happily greeted everyone who came up to the fence to say hi.

Beppo is 🚨 MEDICALLY ALERTED 🚨 because he needs his eye removed. Medical staff believe a tumor is growing over it. He also was limping on his front right leg (though it has not slowed him down), and he's had an ongoing upper respiratory infection.

He needs an adopter or rescue to save him by TODAY, TUESDAY 6/16 @ 4PM. Hoping his hero is out there and Beppo is able to get the vet care he needs 🙏

Please contact South LA Shelter IMMEDIATELY if you can save this sweet boy!

🚨 Help needed now — Trinity must be saved by Tuesday, June 16 by 4 PM. She’s a 9‑week‑old, 2‑lb female brown tabby at South L.A. animal shelter. Trinity is sweet and friendly but ringworm‑positive — ringworm is treatable and she should not die for it.

If you can adopt and take her to the vet, go to South L.A. animal shelter ASAP. If you can foster, please COMMENT and DM — a foster helps get a rescue to pull her.

Please like, comment, share, repost, pledge, and tag rescues. Time is running out — less than 20 hours. Let’s save Trinity ❤️

🚨 URGENT - FREYA is listed for euthanasia and must be saved by Tuesday, June 16 by 4 PM. Freya is a spayed gray female, about 2 years old — RESCUE ONLY (cannot be adopted; only a rescue can pull her). She’s listed because she lunged and bit someone four times while protecting her kittens — I don’t have more information than that. As you can see in this video, she’s extremely gentle, loving, and affectionate. She does not deserve to die for protecting her babies.

If you can foster, please comment and DM — having a foster will help get a rescue to pull her. Please like, share, comment, repost, and pledge. Please — let’s all come together and save Freya ❤️✨ Repost

Wonderful news LEVI is safe! Once we have more information we will post it here. Thank you and please be careful scammers!
ZERO INTEREST💔
🆘🚨1 YEAR OLDLEVI DIES TOMORROW 6/15🚨🆘

Levi hasn't even been at the shelter for a full month and is already scheduled to die 😭

He was given a one day extension, but he still has no exit plan in place and his time is officially up MONDAY 6/15 anytime after 8AM. He is RESCUE ONLY💔

He has just started to trust only to die tomorrow. LEVI is only one year old and a mere 30 Ibs.

This scared puppy arrived at the South LA shelter just 3 weeks ago. He was a terrified stray dog - barking, alligator rolling on leash, and so fearful that he defecated on himself. Imagine how horrifying it must have been for this poor young pup to be suddenly forced confined by strangers into a shelter cage.

The day LEVI first step out of his kennel and went to playgroup, he was fearful & defensive in his kennel, biting at the leash initially, and walking with his tail tucked between his legs. That same day, after playgroup, LEVI walked well back to his kennel - notably more relaxed and his tail untucked. It was very obvious that this young boy was simply scared and confused.

Since then, LEVI's handlers have noted improvement - less defensive in kennel and doing better with handling. In playgroup, Levi has had bouts of play, mingled, and been less tolerant of male dogs. Given the short time LEVI has been at the shelter, he has only been in playgroup a handful of times.

In a yard with LEVI, this timid puppy warmed up with a soft approach and reassurance. He is a puppy longing for connection but scared in the shelter environment. Fear and stress, while understandable, is a death sentence at South LA and now this young dog is RESCUE ONLY with just hours left to live.

Please help him. He's waiting at South Los Angeles Shelter.
