🆘🚨ALERTED & URGENT! SHILOH NEEDS ADOPTION OR RESCUE BY FRIDAY 8/8 at 8AM!🚨🆘

Shiloh is 7 years old and 14 pounds. He first arrived at the shelter in July 2024. He was adopted, but ended up back at the shelter as a stray one year later in July 2025. He was microchipped, but no one came to redeem him💔 We haven’t had a chance to meet him at the shelter, but his notes say he was amicable during his medical exam and did well during a small dog playgroup where he was tolerant around the other dogs and gave appropriate corrections.

He was recently adopted again, but returned after a week due to a minor bite incident. A grandfather was playing with his granddaughter when the granddaughter screamed. Shiloh then bit the grandfather on the arm. It was minor, but it drew blood. He was placed into bite quarantine and euth-listed. Shiloh must be ADOPTED or RESCUED by FRIDAY 8/8 at 8AM. If you can be his hero, contact South Los Angeles Shelter IMMEDIATELY!

GANDOLF is a neutered male. He is about 5 yrs old and weighs 9 lbs.
Arrived at the shelter on 7/15/25 as a Owner Surrender due to "LANDLORD".
MEDICAL ALERT:
Missing top incisors, severe gingivitis, mild tartar.
Scabs on head and generalized around the body. Possible cat fight/flea allergies.

🆘BLUE DIES ON WEDNESDAY 8/6🆘

Blue needs a miracle! This handsome boy is 3 yrs old. He was surrendered to the shelter less than a month ago due to his owner having “no time” for him. He was bought from a breeder and lived outside. His owner said he had never been around kids but was gentle with adults, enjoyed toys, was good with grooming, and had good leash skills. Blue sadly has only been out of his kennel once, and that was 3 weeks ago for his playgroup assessment. He was described as tolerant of the other large dogs but sexually motivated (he’s not neutered). He caught an upper respiratory infection and therefore has not had any enrichment since. He’s quite recognizable though because he happily carries his food bowl around with him in his kennel and looks so cute doing so.

Unfortunately, during a recent meet and greet with a potential adopter (father and 2 kids), Blue lunged at the children. He also growled at the staff member and father when they tried to pick up his ball that he was playing with. Blue’s owner also reported that he growls when trying to take high value treats away from him so he’ll definitely need a savvy, breed experienced owner who can work on resource guarding with him. He’s been tolerant of handling besides that. Hoping a responsible RESCUE steps up for this guy before it’s too late. He needs training for the resource guarding and should go to an adult only home. He must be RESCUED by WEDNESDAY 8/6 @ 8AM. Please contact South LA Animal Shelter IMMEDIATELY if you can help him🙏
