We have had SO MANY amazing adoptions in recent weeks—and they make us so happy we thought they’d make you happy too! 🥰
So here’s the first sweet story: Rose and Rachel from the Department Q litter went to their forever home this week! 👏👏👏Adopted by KR volunteer Puff feeder Jillian no less!
We are over the moon. 🌙Look at this happy family; we wish them a bery happy life. 🏡🥂💕

New Years Babies!! 🪩🐱🐱🐱🥂The first Kitten Rescue newborn kittens of 2026 were born to mama Sparkle for New Year’s Day! 🥰
This is mama Sparkle and her three perfect round babies, Pinkie Pie, FlutterShy and Applejack! 🦄🦄🦄They are all thriving and Sparkle is the BEST MAMA!
Now Sparkle is still a teenager (under one year) but her life story thus far would make a great novel 📚(or movie) so we’ll tell you that saga in another post.
For now: SQUUUUEEEEEE they’re so cute!

Meet Lea, Tomato and Chocolate! 🐱🐱🐱These stunning young kitties are all waiting for forever homes.
Lea (upper right) is a spunky girl who loves to show off her hunting skills and hiding prowess. This tricky little lady will keep you entertained with her sweet personality and playful butt-wiggles.
Tomato (left) is a happy-go-lucky, funky and loving boy. From making biscuits, to taking impromptu naps in warm human laps, he does everything with charm and good humor - he definitely knows how to work around. He's a big, silly personality in a cuddly body.
Finally, Chocolate (lower right ) with the beautiful coat, -is a shy kitty who is wishing for a loving human who will give him a chance for a lifetime of safety, love and joy. 🙏

is searching for his perfect match. 🤩
Hershey is young (not yet one year old) but mature and relaxed. He no longer has the crazy kitten energy that can be too much for some people. In fact, Hershey is a very chill guy and the perfect lap cat. He loves attention and is very affectionate. His nickname in his foster home was "Hershey Kiss”. 😘
Hershey has lived in a foster home with both a big and small dog, which he was completely unbothered by and got along well. He currently lives at a cat café with other cats whom he has no issues with as well.

Pudding 🖤🤍is a cutie pie who's as sweet as his namesake.🍦He’s still just a baby—born in 2025! His foster mom tells us his favorite place to be at night is cuddled up on the couch with you, baking biscuits. 🐾
He is happy to lull you to sleep at night with some purring ASMR as he snuggles in next to you. He's not all couch potato, though!

This energetic, clever little guy plays just as hard as he cuddles and naps. Give him a kitty tube, a scratcher, and a few toys (spring toys are his fav!) and this guy will entertain himself (and you!) for hours with his silly little hops and zoomies. Since Pudding is a very playful and social boy, he'd do best in a home with another young cat or kitten who can match his energy and is happy to challenge him to a race or a playful wrestling match.

This is Ocho and Ursa, and their story will melt your heart! 💕This young bonded pair is actually mother and daughter. When Ursa had her own litter of kittens (six to be exact!), her mom Ocho (black and white) stayed right by her side and helped her raise her six healthy happy and very clean kittens.🥰Now that that time in their lives is over, these two just want to be together forever with a kind loving human or two.
Ursa and Ocho are both calm, human friendly and curious. Ursa is back to playing with wands and toys now that her babies are grown.
These two are bonded and must be adopted together. They are young cats with a lot of play energy and fun mixed with snuggles and love!

Petunia was found outside as a stray. 🌺At almost two years old, she has shown herself to be a sweet, mellow girl. Petunia will chat with you most of the day and loves a good meal. Petunia very loyal and an overall easy cat. She gets along well with other cats but is really looking for a human to call her own.💕

This young lady loves to play and look out windows —she is fascinated by the world. She would do very well as an only cat, soaking up all the attention but will also thrive under the guidance and security of an older cat who can show her the ropes of her new home.🏡

Is there a special person out there who can be patient, gentle and loving to this kitty whose life has been difficult thus far? 🥹🐈‍⬛
This is Charlie, a regal gentleman who is a true cat’s cat. He absolutely thrives amongst his peers and craves feline companionship. Charlie was rescued in 2021 with his brother Sylvester. They were adopted together, but poor Charlie ws returned two years later due to his brother bullying him. 😞You could imagine how devastated and confused this sweet boy currently is.
Charlie is a sensitive soul who wants to be around his humans, but is not yet fond of being picked up. He will be a comforting presence in your home as he will always want to be in the same room as you!
Charlie is in search of a patient and understanding adopter who will love him. If you're ready to open your heart to a cat who will be there for you in his own unique way, Charlie is waiting to become your loyal companion (ideally, alongside another kitty in the home).

✨Vega is a gorgeous, fluffy girl with soft grey fur accented by charming touches of white. She's a talkative kitty who loves to share her thoughts with her people—whether it’s a friendly greeting or a gentle reminder that it’s time for affection.

This sweet cat is wonderfully friendly and enjoys being around humans. Vega adores getting pets, and cuddles. When she’s not socializing, you’ll often find her napping in her favorite high-up spot, where she can relax and keep an eye on everything below.

Vega is also great at entertaining herself. She loves batting around toys on her own and can turn playtime into a solo adventure. She loves when you engage with her too and appreciates a good wand toy play session! With her affectionate nature, playful independence, and charming chatter, Vega would make a delightful companion in a loving home.

It’s double trouble with orange kitten brothers! 🧡🧡Nacho and his brother Cheese were bottle babies raised by a Kitten Rescue volunteer from the time they were 2 days old, and they really couldn’t be any more comfortable with humans. (Note, the human in this photo taken at Cat Cafe Lounge had JUST sat down when Cheese plopped down.)
Nacho and Cheese are little purr machines and love everyone they meet, and they’ll come running right over, eager for scritches or playtime. It’s hard to judge their personalities right now, since their personalities are so similar (pretty sure they take turns sharing the infamous single orange cat brain cell), 🥰but Cheese might be just a tiny bit more mischievous than his brother, Nacho.
They are both such little sweethearts, though! They are the friendliest, most snuggly boys you could possibly imagine.🐱🐱
