Our “brave” KBS cat tree is getting some heavy attendance lately, with Fester at the top of the tree and the Madagascar litter: Alex, Melman, Gloria and honorary adopted member, Pretzel, just below him and bothering his tail incessantly. 🥰
But it was all in good fun and we are so thankful to for donating this amazing tree—a work of art and a hard worker!

Meet Veronica, a tiny tripod rocket! 🚀She may only have three legs, but that doesn’t stop her kitten energy from going full throttle. Shy at first, she’s now gaining confidence in her foster home and showing off her playful side. 🛝She chases after her toys, traverses stairs with ease, and jumps up the cat tree with no issues. Veronica is affectionate and enjoys being around her people, so much so that she’ll happily follow you from room to room. She has the cutest squeaky meows to ask for attention and treats. She can be a bit skittish with loud noises or when someone comes directly toward her, but she recovers quickly and loves settling back in for playtime and cuddles. Veronica is looking for a loving, quieter home to help her continue blossoming. In exchange, you get a sweet little tripod with big eyes, big opinions, and a whole lot of heart.❤️ and if this sounds like the perfect cat for you, then swing by PetSmart, Canoga Park (), to see this little dynamo in action! ↖️West, Pumpkin, Popcorn, Hope, Chance, and Tessa, will once again be appearing at PetSmart, Sherman Oaks, tomorrow afternoon, and we assure you that we will not rest till these kitties find their forever homes🫶🏼West is a stunning black panther full of affection and personality! He’s confident, adventurous, and always on the move! He’ll happily follow you around and soak up all the love. 🎃Pumpkin & Popcorn🍿are bonded gentle giants. Big, fluffy, and incredibly easygoing. These two are all about cozy vibes, cuddles, and keeping a watchful eye on the neighborhood, so you know you’ll always get all the goss👀🌟 Hope & Chance are also a bonded duo with a heart-tugging past. Left behind at PetSmart just a couple of months ago, they’re now thriving, playful, and finally showing their true loving nature.🥺 and finally there’s Tessa who promises to be your little shadow and quietly follow you around, always ready for affection. Gentle, loving, and a true cuddle bug… she also makes the best biscuits in town! 🐾 All of these amazing cats are social, loving, and ready for their forever homes. This fluffy kitten is Zephyr. We got him, along with his four orange sisters in April when we learned the shelter was going to euthanize them right away. Zephyr had eye infections, so severe that his eyes needed enucleation (surgical removal). But make no mistake—Zephyr has no idea he is blind and you might be a bit in doubt too once you see him in action. 🥰

Zephyr will confidently find and greet you, play, and navigate his day effortlessly! Zephyr is available for adoption NOW so if you’d like to meet him and possibly adopt, please visit our adoption center at Perry’s Place in North Hollywood (7342 Fulton Street) Saturday or Sunday from 12-5 pm.

Zephyr needs to have another young playful cat with him at his forever home. 🐱🐱

So what happened with his sisters? One already got adopted 👏and the other three are with Zephyr at Perry’s Place and ready for adoption too! 🧡🧡🧡

This is Lone Ranger and he sort of found us. 🐈‍⬛This kitten just “appeared” on our property and for a few days we saw him frequently. One of our caretakers was able to scoop him up and now he’s an official sanctuary resident!
Lone Ranger had no microchip and was not neutered. We suspect he was dumped over our gate. Welcome Lone Ranger!

Have we run out of tabby kittens for adoption? 🐯 No we have not ! This is Kiwi—just four months old and though not ready for adoption at this moment, he will be soon. The photos and video say it all—he is a stunning, confident, happy little boy. We hope to get him into a loving home soon!

Meet Queen Latifah, 👑the reigning queen of conversation and cuddles at Kitten Rescue! Latifah arrived earlier this year when we found her in carrier at our gate. Despite this upheaval, Latifah held her head high and settled right into the sanctuary.
It turns out Queen Latifah love being around people! She will happily spend her day chatting away, asking for attention, and making sure you always know how she feels. Whether she's carrying on a full conversation with her humans, tossing around her favorite catnip toys, or curled up in a cozy bed for a nap, Latifah knows exactly how to enjoy her life.
Queen Latifah thrives on attention and affection and would love a home where she can be the center of your world. She's looking for a calm home where she can be the one and only pet. In truth, Latifah does not get along with other cats or dogs.
In return for your loving attention, she'll give you endless companionship, entertainment, and love. 💕
