Robert Clough has been in the fight of his life against Polycystic Kidney Disease. With his kidney function dropping to a critical 5%, the situation was dire. But then, Candice stepped in—not just as a wife, but as a lifesaver.

✨ The Update: Candice successfully donated one of her kidneys to Robert yesterday. The best part? She told me the kidney is functioning to perfection!

Candice is headed home tomorrow.

Robert will stay at UAB for about a week to recover.

It’s Friday, and many of you have been asking me to follow up on the passing of 4-year-old Johnathan Boley, who was found deceased in a wooded area of Walker County, AL days ago.
While my goal on my page is to bring you Good News, I am also aware that sad things happen to good people, and I want those good people to know we are behind them.
Autopsy reports were released yesterday, and the coroner is reporting that Johnathan- who wandered from his father’s house on New Year’s Eve-died of hypothermia.
There was no foul play reported (his dog Buck was found alive).
I’d like to ask that you not judge, but rather send your condolences to Johnathan’s mother Angel and his father Jameson.
Angel Boley released a statement this morning:
"With all my heart, I want to thank every first responder, law enforcement officer, neighbor, and kind stranger who searched day and night for Johnathan. Your kindness, patience, and care have carried my family through moments we never imagined we would face. In our deepest sorrow, you surrounded us with compassion and reminded us that we were not alone.
“We will hold your love close to our hearts always. I am especially grateful to the churches and Episcopal camp communities for their prayers and tender support. Even in life’s darkest moments, God’s love finds us through one another, and you have shown us this truth as we place Johnathan gently into God’s loving care."

🕊️ NINETEEN YEARS OF GRIT: PRAYERS FOR OUR WARRIOR, LULU IVY 🕊️

Meet Lulu Ivy. She’s 19, a Taylor Swift fan, a Marvel lover, and a WWE enthusiast who truly felt it when John Cena retired. But more than that, she is a fighter who has been battling Osteosarcoma since she was 13.

The Battle So Far:

2020: Faced pelvic bone removal followed by grueling radiation and chemo.

May 2025: Proved everyone wrong by graduating from Hillcrest High School.

The Present: The cancer is back and has metastasized, with tumors wrapped around her spinal cord. Doctors say it’s inoperable.

What’s Next? Lulu starts another cycle of chemotherapy this coming Monday. Next month, she heads to MD Anderson in Houston for critical scans. She is digging in her heels once again, hoping for a miracle to shrink the tumors.

2 MONTHS LATER: THE FIGHT FOR CLEIGHTON’S RECOVERY CONTINUES 🚨

It was two months ago today that life changed forever for 18-year-old Cleighton Strickland. After a traumatic car accident on Nov 5th, Cleighton remains at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, fighting to wake up.

His mom, Amy, shared a heartbreakingly honest update today: "We are weary, but knowing people pray helps us."

The Current Battle:

Physical Toll: Cleighton weighs just 112 lbs and is very weak.

Next Steps: Procedures are scheduled to help straighten his stiffened arms and hands. Doctors are also looking to cap and remove his trach within a week.

The Bond: His brother, Gregory, stepped away from Auburn University this semester to be his brother's hands and feet. His girlfriend, Mary Claire, and her family never miss a weekend by his side.

At just 6 years old, these boys love cows, fishing, and the outdoors. But they are battling a cruel condition called Telomere Biological Disorder (TBD). "Right now, our twins' cells are the equivalent of an 85-year-old," Misty shared.

While Corbyn remains stable with testing every 3 months, Axl is fighting an even tougher battle against Grade 4 Glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer.

💪 THE FIGHT FOR A FUTURE: The family just arrived at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for a clinical trial. They live day to day, traveling twice a month for monitoring, clinging to the hope that their boys will have years of fishing and seafood ahead of them.

This is the face of a scared little boy. And it hurts to see it.
This is Daniel. Small. Fragile. Wrapped in hospital blankets with tubes taped to his tiny body.
Daniel is just three years old. Months ago, doctors found a mass in his head. He’s already undergone brain surgery, chemotherapy, and emergency procedures to relieve dangerous pressure on his brain.
Part of the tumor couldn’t be removed without risking his eyesight. Since then, he’s lived with drains, hospital stays, and uncertainty no parent should ever face.
Now, his mom Antonia is back in crisis mode — rushed by helicopter to Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi after Daniel developed a fever.
Doctors have confirmed COVID, the flu, and RSV — all at once — on top of a growing brain tumor and complications with his shunt. She is there alone, while her husband stays home caring for their other children.
Daniel and his family really need our prayers and supportive words. Both are frightened.
