Foxtail PSA 🐾 ❤️‍🩹
This Foxtail was removed from a dog‘s nose today – ouch!
Foxtails can sneak into noses, ears, eyes, paws, and skin, causing pain, infection, and serious problems if not treated quickly.
After outdoor adventures, please check your pet from nose to toes – especially after walks in dry grasses.
Sneezing, head shaking, paw, licking, squinting, or swelling? Call us right away.

🌾 Foxtail season is here—and these tiny grass awns can cause big problems for pets.
Foxtails can become lodged in your pet’s paws, ears, nose, eyes, or skin, leading to pain, infection, and even serious complications if left untreated.
🐾 Help keep your pet safe:
• Avoid walking through tall, dry grass.
• Check your pet’s paws, ears, eyes, and coat after every outdoor adventure.
• Groom regularly, especially if your pet has a long or thick coat.
• Contact your veterinarian right away if you notice excessive licking, limping, head shaking, sneezing, swelling, or sudden discomfort.
A quick check after every walk can make all the difference. If you think your pet has encountered a foxtail, don’t wait—early treatment is the best way to prevent complications.

Every second counts in an emergency. ❤️🐾

What started as a happy game at the park quickly became a life-threatening situation when this sweet pup choked on a ball. Thanks to the quick thinking, skill, and teamwork of our veterinary team, we were able to safely remove the obstruction and help them breathe again. Dr. Chase, Emily, and Gina were heroes!

This is your reminder that even toys can become dangerous. Always choose appropriately sized toys for your dog, supervise playtime, and seek immediate veterinary care if your pet is choking or struggling to breathe.

We’re so grateful for the trust our clients place in us and so proud of our incredible team for staying calm under pressure when it matters most.

⚠️ If your pet is choking, don’t wait—it is a true emergency.

Before heading outside with your furry friend, remember that warm weather can be tough on pets. ☀️🐾
Keep your pets cool by:
💧 Providing plenty of fresh water
🌳 Walking during cooler morning or evening hours
🏠 Offering shade and air-conditioned spaces
🐕 Avoiding hot pavement that can burn paw pads
🚗 Never leaving pets unattended in a vehicle
Watch for signs of heat stress, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or difficulty breathing. If you notice these symptoms, contact your veterinarian right away.
Stay safe, stay cool, and enjoy the sunshine responsibly! ❤️🐾
