Our feed program is important to us! The Texas heat is here, but the riding hasn’t stopped and these horses are still getting their miles in.

Your c**t starter should be sending your horse home in good condition. Long, hot days aren’t an excuse for poor looking horses. Good nutrition and care should always be part of the program.

After work, everybody gets a good wash! We’ve been loving Vetericyn soap. Keeps the skin healthy and coats looking good.

Good feed. Good miles. That’s all part of putting a good start on one.

Incase you were wondering the Adios Pantalones babies are just as cool in the pasture as the arena! They have the best demeanor. We think a lot of this filly. She did great roping her first yearling.

As Phil Haugen says, “Be your best horseman,” but sometimes you gotta “be your best barrel racer.” Ha!

In all seriousness, it’s good to step away and ride with the best. We want these babies leaving our c**t starting program ready to roll on, with the feel and foundation to go right to work.

Everybody needs fine tuning and honest feedback every now and then. Thanks for the help as always, Lorissa!
