Yes, it is certainly planting season for our small urban farm. When the sprouts are so small, it's hard to imagine them becoming a harvest capable of feeding hundreds of people. As the season continues, we know just how important it is to share fresh, organically grown produce and meals where anyone can have a seat at the table. We have community meals at Church of the Redeemer all year round, and use Solidarity produce when available: ..a to-go lunch every Wednesday from 12pm-1pm...a dine-in and carry-out dinner every Thursday from 5pm-6:30pm.

We do hope you'll join us, whether it's just to say hello, help serve, or eat together. All you need to do is show up.

Swipe ➑️ to go back in time. Thanks to the time & talent of our staff & Farm Ambassador team, we turned these previously grassy and wintered beds into the perfect home for onions, collards, kale, tatsoi, and lettuce.

It's been a full spring sprint and we are... tired. And simultaneously really, really excited. Farm work is physically exhausting but so incredibly rewarding - especially during this time of year, where the fresh scent of blooming trees and flowers fills the air. As we plan and seed and broadfork and compost and plant and water and w**d, Solidarity cannot wait to share the harvest resulting from this good, hard work with you all.

The plants are popping! The Solidarity Team is gearing up for our annual plant sale on May 10th - save the date coming next week. With soil temperatures rising and the last frost date approaching, we can't wait to get these starts in the ground and send our cold hearty spring crops into the community. Hooray for more sunshine and an upward weather trend!🐝🌻
