๐บ๐ธ 4th of July Pet Safety Tips ๐บ๐ธ
Fireworks can be exciting for usโbut frightening for our pets! Help keep them safe this Independence Day:
โขIf your pet has anxiety, donโt wait until the last minute. Contact us now to discuss medications or calming options before the holiday.
โขMake sure your pet is wearing a collar with current ID tags and that their microchip information is up to date.
โขKeep pets indoors in a quiet, secure room with the TV, radio, or a fan on to help mask fireworks.
โขKeep doors, gates, and windows securely closed. Many pets panic and try to escape during fireworks.
โขKeep holiday foods, alcohol, chocolate, grapes, onions, and xylitol-containing products out of reach.
โขNever bring pets to fireworks displays. The loud noises and crowds can be overwhelming.
๐A little preparation can help ensure your furry family members have a safe and stress-free holiday. If you think your pet may need help managing anxiety, give us a call before the holiday weekend!๐
