Slip N Slobber Waterpark is officially OPEN 💦🐾

We’ve got full send swimmers, splash pad maniacs, and creek explorers…
and then we’ve got the “I’ll just dip a toe and judge everyone” crew 😂

Even our non-water dogs are getting in on it—tip-toeing through the creek, testing the pool like it might bite them, then sprinting off to zoom, relax, and supervise from the shade 🌿

Opening day verdict:

✨🐾 Bromley & Brighton 💛 🐾✨

These two completely stole our hearts…

Brighton 🤍 is the sweetest, shyest little soul who was recently rescued by her amazing owners. You can just feel how much she’s soaking up all the love and learning to trust her people and the world around her 🥹 She started off a bit timid, but it didn’t take long before her gentle personality began to shine — especially with her awesome big brother by her side.

And then there’s Bromley ☀️… your classic happy-go-lucky golden retriever! This goofy boy believes everything is his friend — dogs, people, probably even the air 😂 He’s full of wiggles, joy, and nonstop excitement for life.

Together, they were such a fun pair. Brighton found comfort and confidence with Bromley, and Bromley made sure there was never a dull moment. They both did amazing in group play, made friends, and soaked up plenty of one-on-one snuggles 💕

Kennel time? Well… let’s just say it started off a little chaotic 😅 Bromley the wiggle worm bouncing all over the place, while sweet Brighton was like, “I’ll just be right here, ready for cuddles please.” It didn’t take long before they settled into their own rhythm though ❤️

We absolutely loved getting to know these two and watching their bond. Such special dogs in their own unique ways.

We can’t wait to have you back, Bromley & Brighton 🐶🐶💛

✨🐾 Luna Love Throwback 🐾✨

Okay, I know I’m a little behind on posting (trying to catch up over here 😅), but I could not skip sharing this absolute sweetheart…

Meet Luna 🖤 — the most beautiful, kind-hearted black lab you’ll ever meet.

This girl is the definition of a lover dog. Luna doesn’t just want attention… she wants to be part of you. If there’s a lap available, she’s in it. If there are arms open, she’s melting right into them. And let me tell you — she gives the BEST snuggles 🥹

Her face? Instant heart-melter.
Her eyes? Pure kindness.
Her soul? As gentle as they come.

Luna gets along with every dog she meets and plays just as softly and sweetly as her personality. She brings such a calm, loving energy to the pack — the kind that makes everyone feel safe and happy.

She’s one of those dogs that when you see her name on the schedule, you get so excited… because you know you’re about to be loved just as much as you love her ❤️

We adore you, Luna, and we can’t wait to have you back again!

Suzie, our tiny little sweetheart 🥹💕

Some dogs are special the moment they walk through the gate… and that’s exactly who Suzie is. This little girl has the most wonderful, gentle temperament. She’s playful when it’s time to play, cuddly when it’s time to snuggle, and truly just the sweetest, most easygoing soul. Honestly… I don’t know who could resist that face — which is how she ended up getting some inside-the-house time with us too. 💗

At first, Suzie was a bit shy. A whole yard full of new dog friends can feel like a lot for a tiny girl! But lucky for her (and us), we always seem to have the kindest group of pups playing together. Once she realized everyone was friendly, she slowly came out of her shell… and when she did, she PLAYED. Hard. 🎾

And then… the love story began.

Our 120-pound Rottweiler, Kevin, completely fell for her. And Suzie fell right back. The size difference made it even sweeter — this tiny little lady and her giant best friend. Kevin would sit by the door when she was put away, just waiting patiently for her to come back out. And Suzie? She would search the whole play yard until she found him. The two of them would just hang out together like old friends who had a lifetime of catching up to do. It was honestly one of the cutest friendships we’ve ever seen.

Of course, Suzie made friends with everyone — dogs and humans alike. Every pup loved her, and we sure did too.

Suzie, you were absolutely amazing. We hope this wasn’t goodbye… just “see you next time.” 💕

Bo & Bailey came to stay with us, and these two are truly the best sibling duo.

Bo, the chocolate Lab girl, and Bailey, the gorgeous golden retriever puppy girl, balance each other out so perfectly. Even though Bailey is much younger, she has that classic golden heart of gold — a little more calm and laid back (though we know not all Goldens fit that mold 😉).

Bo is playful, full of energy, and loves zooming around, encouraging Bailey to step out of her shyness and join in the fun. She’s the perfect support sister for Bailey — leading by example and helping her feel confident as she watches Bo jump right into play. Before long, Bailey was right there with her, running, playing, and having a blast.

These two are absolutely adorable together, and sibling duos like this are always so special to watch. We love that they get to share a kennel, giving them that familiar face and extra comfort through the night. Their owners are so lucky to have such a sweet, balanced pair.

Bo & Bailey both went home clean, fresh, and happy 🛁✨ and we can’t wait to watch them again soon. Something tells us these two would be so much fun in the water park — hopefully we’ll see them back for a summertime stay! 🌊🐶

Bob the Border Collie came to stay with us, and this guy is just cool.

Since Bob goes to daycare in town, he’s already well-versed in group play — which worked out perfectly because we had other friendly dogs here, including a few pups he already knew. There’s something pretty special about arriving in a new place and realizing you’ve got familiar friends waiting for you.

Bob is alert, incredibly well-behaved, and has such a fantastic personality. Call him inside and he’s immediately all about the pets, leaning in with that sweet face that just melts your heart.

And let’s talk fetch… because Bob is an absolute all-star. He’s got that classic Border Collie stare-down, locking eyes on the byall like a hawk until the moment you pick it up. Then he’s off — lightning fast. We kept the throws unpredictable, sending the ball in every direction so he never knew where he was headed next.

One of the coolest things about Bob? He loves to hide the ball when he brings it back. Behind the snowblower, next to the tunnel, just out of sight — then he’d step back a few feet and give that intense stare, daring you to find it. Sometimes he hid it so well I had no idea where it was, and all I had to say was, “Bob, get the ball, bring it closer,” and he’d do exactly that… drop it right at my feet, then step back again, ready for the next throw.

Bob can jump high and catch the ball with such grace, and while we know that comes with the breed, it never stops being impressive. Even better, he plays fetch with other dogs without being greedy — letting others grab the ball first, patiently waiting for it to be dropped, and then jumping right back into the game.

Bob, you are one heck of a dog, and we absolutely loved having you here. 🐶💙

Marty came to stay with us over Christmas, though I constantly found myself calling him Marty McFly because… it just fits. 😄

Marty arrived with one of his best buddies, Bailey the Black Lab, and these two play like absolute madmen—in the best way possible. They’re used to running, wrestling, and roaming together since their dads work out in the woods, so they’ve got that perfect high-energy, adventure-ready bond. Luckily for us, Bailey and Marty match each other’s energy beautifully and feed off one another in all the right ways.

Of course, Marty didn’t just stick with Bailey—he played with everybody. Super friendly, kind, outgoing, and always inviting other dogs to join in. This handsome guy would play hard, then take a break by coming right up to me… pretty sure he thinks he’s a lap dog (and honestly, he might be). He is so sweet and lovable. 💙

Marty also got to enjoy an extra walk, which he absolutely loved. He was fantastic on his leash and did an amazing job calmly observing the horses along the way.

Marty, we loved having you and your big personality here. Thank you for spending your Christmas stay with us. 🐶✨

Clark & Eddie came to stay with us, and these two were such a fun pair to get to know.

Eddie is the definition of a happy-go-lucky guy—silly, carefree, and always ready to say hi like nothing in the world could possibly worry him. He jumped right in, tail wagging, soaking up attention and checking everything out with his signature goofy charm.

Clark, his wise and observant brother, was a little more cautious. At first, he made it very clear that his heart belonged to his mom and nobody else. But after a day of extra love, quiet reassurance, and plenty of kennel snuggles, he decided there might be room in his heart for one more person. By the end of their stay, Clark was my shadow—following me everywhere, claiming the chair next to me, and hopping into my lap the moment I sat down, happily observing the play yard like the watchful gentleman he is.

These two were sweet, handsome, and the perfect size. They did great in group play, sticking together like glue at first before slowly branching out—mostly Eddie venturing off for short bursts of play before returning right back to his brother.

Clark & Eddie were such a joy to have here, and we absolutely loved earning their trust and getting to be part of their world, even for a short time. 🐶🤍
