Well Day 1 is in the books. 😁
Took Stormy to Evansville to run for the first time in MONTHS. It may have been over a year since we really ran, honestly. Last year I focused more on showing in English classes and running Delta before she got too heavy in foal. Stormy just fell to the back burner sadly. I sent her to Freedom Reins to be a therapy horse for a few months in the summer, and over the winter and she loved it.
Now it’s time to be a barrel horse again! We didn’t have the run we wanted, but we still pulled a check! She always gives me her heart in her runs!
You all know I always preach about progress and I’ve made a few posts about it, well last night was no different. Winning the 3D with lots of mistakes was great! I don’t expect her to be winning all the time, and last night we got a check out of luck, but she made progress! 2days to go! We will see how tonight goes! 😁
