The Animal Clinic of Wekiva in Longwood, Florida, is a small veterinary clinic for cats, and dogs. We provide vaccines, x-rays, de-clawing, and a number of surgical procedures to ensure your beloved pet is healthy. Our unique atmosphere and kind staff sets our veterinary clinic apart from others in the area. When you bring your family pet here, you can rest easy knowing they'll receive the finest treatment.

We are happy to now offer Phovia Fluorescent Light Therapy!

Phovia can be used as a single treatment or as a component of multimodal therapy for various conditions, including, but not limited to: surgical incisions, skin infections/hot spots, lick granulomas, open or traumatic wounds, burn wounds, etc.

Meet Willow!

Willow‘s life changed overnight after her owner passed away. A roommate promised to care for her and her brother, but moved out two weeks later and left Willow behind and had to live sometime outdoors (which she was not used to!)...

In just a few weeks, Willow lost:
• her owner
• her brother
• her home
• the comfort of living indoors

The good news Willow is now safe, comfortable and spoiled by a loving foster home.

Willow is 7 years young, friendly, spayed, and up-to-date on everything. She’s gentle, resilient and deserves a forever family who will never leave her behind again!

Is your dog terrified of coming to the vet?! 😱

We are currently taking part in an investigational study to see if a medication given prior to vet visits results in an overall less anxious experience 🐕

The study includes 2 visits to the clinic, the first without medication and the second with medication 💊(or a placebo), and each visit involves a physical exam and bloodwork 💉

There is no cost to the client and, in fact, compensation for participation may be available 💵

📣 We are very excited to share with you that we have added a veterinarian to our team - Dr. Jennifer Wartenbee! 🐾 She will be splitting her time between here at the Animal Clinic of Wekiva alongside Dr. Farrell and our sister clinic, Loving Hearts Pet Hospital , alongside Dr. Trompeta 🥳

She is from originally from Oregon, obtained her undergraduate degree from Oregon State University and went on to earn her veterinary degree from St. Matthew's University, located on the beautiful island of Grand Cayman 🇰🇾 While cows 🐄 are her absolute favorite, she focuses her veterinary care on dogs and cats and particularly enjoys surgery 🩺🥼. When she is not working, you'll catch her spending time with her ⚽ soccer-loving son and her dog named Lady! 🐶ྀི

It’s that time of year again! For the 3rd consecutive year, we are proud to participate in the annual Addison's Toy Chest Toy Drive!

We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for children ages 0-18 until December 11th here at Animal Clinic of Wekiva.
