Visit Petsmart today for the Jingle Bell Bake Sale and meet new friends. You might meet your special four-legged friend today.

Fin and his friends will be attending and invite you to meet him. Fin is a neutered 8-month-old male who walks well on a leash and is trained for both house and crate living. Although initially shy, loud noises may frighten him. Fin is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and microchip. He gets along well with children, cats, and dogs.

King Arthur

Saved from the shelter at the last minute, King Arthur has settled into his foster home really well. He is considered a geriatric man with his estimated age being around 13-14 years old. He's not neutered, but at his advanced age, his veterinarian has said neutering him would be risky. He doesn't have many teeth left and he's a bit cranky when the other dogs in his foster family get too rowdy, but he enjoys being spoiled and allowed to just live life like he wants. He likes to snuggle in his blanket and screams "get off my lawn" when another dog is too close to his bed. It's ok though, he deserves to feel this way!

Theo

How adorable is this older gentleman? Theo was recently returned to rescue because he doesn't do well with cats. He is, however, great with other dogs and LOVES children. He is house, crate and leash trained. He loves his people and mostly just wants to be around them all the time.

Mia

Mia's story is a little sad. She was adopted as a puppy, but returned for being aggressive with the dog she grew up with. Turns out she wasn't and even did daycare with other dogs for a while. She was heartworm positive when she was returned and went through the slow kill method of treatment. While she waited, she met the most perfect owner. He loved her very much and she was the perfect companion for him, but sadly, he passed and Mia was returned to rescue. Now, as an older girl, she doesn't do well with dogs who have a higher energy. She would do best being the only dog, but will be devoted to the right person. She is mostly a couch potato, but would enjoy going on walks or trips in the truck with just the right person.

Mia is a 7 year old shepherd mix who is crate, house and leash trained. She is calm in the house and loves to sleep in the bed with her person. Currently, she is in long term boarding as we don't have a foster home that is a good fit, so we if you would like to consider fostering to see if she is good fit, you can apply by clicking on the link below.

Canyon

Canyon is a six-month-old Rottweiler/Cane Corso mix, neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. He has completed beginner training and is advancing to intermediate training, demonstrating a strong affinity for learning. Coco

Coco is a two year old lab mix who was surrendered along with her adopted brother Chase due to no fault of her own. She is a very sweet girl who is shy at first, but warms up quickly. She does well with other dogs, but no cats or chickens. She is good with kids, is house trained, crate trained and walks well on the leash.

She was heartworm positive at the time of surrender, but has gone through heartworm treatment and is doing well. She is living in a boarding facility as we do not have enough fosters available to take her into a home. Chase

Chase was adopted as a puppy from our rescue, but was returned recently, along with his adopted sister, due to no fault of his own. He’s a very sweet boy with a moderate amount of energy. He’s did well with the other dog in his home, but does not do well with cats and can be selective with dogs he doesn’t know. He is house and crate trained and walks well on a leash. At the time we had him, he was very small and we had labeled him a lab mix, but it appears he may have some shepherd as well now that we see him in his beautiful adult stage.

He was heartworm positive when he was returned but he has completed the fast kill heartworm treatment and is doing well. He currently is living in a boarding facility as we do not have enough fosters available to take him into a home.
