Join us at Petsmart this Saturday to meet Messer, affectionately known as Messy. Messer is a four-month-old Great Pyrenees mix who has been neutered and is current on his vaccinations and microchipped. He gets along well with kids, cats, and other dogs. Messer is making great strides in his potty training and is kennel trained. He is also mastering basic commands.

Messmer

Messmer is a fun puppy who loves everyone. He is so playful with children, does well with other dogs and even cats. He is in the awkward stage of puppy hood, but should grow out of it soon and will be a beautiful boy. He is working on house and crate training.

Messmer is a two month old Pyrenees mix with possible lab puppy. He is neutered, completing his vaccine series, is microchipped and has already started on heartworm prevention.

River Anne

River and her sister, Willow, were found and surrendered to a shelter. Their owner never reclaimed them so they went to rescue. Since it's hard adopting out multiple dogs together, they were placed into separate foster homes. She is doing well in her foster home, but she is shy at first meeting. She does well with dogs, cats and children. She is very sweet and loving and loves to snuggle on the bed with her person. She recently discovered that she likes squeaky toys. She is crate, house and leash trained.

I would like to introduce you to Willow, a 1 1/2 year old Bloodhound. She has undergone a heartworm test with negative results, has been microchipped, spayed, and is current on all vaccinations. Willow is ideally suited as a house companion, having been house and crate trained, and demonstrating compatibility with cats and other dogs, although she does prefer more laid-back canine companions. She is shy at first, but once she opens up she is ready to play. Willow loves going for truck rides with the windows down. Goldie

Goldie was found as a stray and turned in to the shelter. Her family didn't come looking for her and so she was placed with a rescue. Since being in foster care she has shown that she is the ultimate lap dog. She is calm and just mostly wants to be with her person, holding them down. She is a bit shy of new people, but has warmed up quickly. She is food motivated so you will win her over quickly with some yummy treats. She also loves belly rubs and back scratches. Goldie is leash trained and house trained with a regular routine. She does not like her crate so regular trips to potty are important. She rides well in the car, is gentle and even tempered. Like many older girls of her breed, she does have a manageable medical condition that will require medication for her eyes. This condition is a chronic dry eye and is common and easily treatable with daily eye drops.

Goldie is a 10 year old Shih Tzu mix. She has been spayed, tested negative for heartworms and microchipped.

Uma

Meet Uma! Uma came into rescue after her living situation changed. She is a very sweet girl who is nervous with new people, but with patience, she warms up quickly and loves to be near her people. She Loves to play with stuffed toys and run around the yard. She is very fast and loves going on adventures so be careful when opening the door.

Uma loves belly rubs and giving kisses and will do anything for a treat. Except for bananas. She doesn't like those! She is crate and house trained. She gets along well with other dogs and cats.

Maverick

Maverick is a 7 year old corgi mix who is house, crate and leash trained. He’s mostly a love bug who wants to be near his family. He’s enjoys the outdoors, but only if his people are with him. He gets along well with other dogs and children, but hasn’t been cat tested. He’s got a pretty calm attitude so we imagine he would do fine with cats though.

Maverick, is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He did test heartworm positive, but has started his slow kill treatment and seems to be doing well.

Nemo

Mixed born 6/2022. Nemo does well with other dogs and cats. He is a little shy when meeting people but warms up. Due to his shyness personality, he does better with older children. Nemo loves belly rubs and back scratches. He is crate trained and working on his house manners. Nemo is current on vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative and on prevention.

Caad is almost 4 yrs young. He is looking for his active family to take him hiking, play fetch with him and even let him play in the pool.

He would do very well in an apartment, with daily runs to the dog park or taking walks along side of his person. He would be so happy to have a friendly cat for a housemate.
We think Caad was made for the treadmill!! He's excited to jump on it and do his daily walks when the weather is too bad to go out.
Swimming is his favorite sport but fetch runs a close second. He enjoys being with his people and walks so nicely on leash that you almost don't even know you have a dog at your side.
