Not a goodbye, just a see you later 🐱🌈🧡

This past week, my sister and I lost one of our cats we’ve had since we were kids. Almost 13 years ago, daddy came home with two little orange kittens that fit in his shirt pocket. Like kids do, we named them Mac & Roni. 😆🧡

Mac & Roni were the start to it all. Our first pets we were able to care for, that stayed around the family farm, and became our best buddies.

The hardest part of pet ownership, the good-bye. We’re so thankful for our Banfield Pet Hospital family that helped Roni pass so peacefully because sometimes the best decision is the absolute hardest decision.

We love you so much, Roni Bologna. Fly high big man; Mac is still holding it down for us!

Did you know the Horry County Animal Care Center has a low-cost community clinic?

This clinic offers basic vaccines (including the required rabies vaccine), microchipping, spay/neuter, and TNR programs at low cost.

We also offer at-cost heartworm treatment for heartworm-positive pets ADOPTED from the ACC.

Our clinic also serves ACC pets who are in foster homes, awaiting rescue or adoption.

(NOTE: The ACC clinic is not a primary/ private veterinary clinic. Pet owners are encouraged to find a primary veterinarian to help when their pet is sick/injured in the community.)
