Situated on 20 acres just north of Longmont, Colorado, we provide a safe, clean, happy and spacious place where owners of all breeds of dogs can feel comfortable about leaving their best friends in a worry free environment while out of town or just for the day. Our doggie guests love to stay with us and can’t wait to come back again and again to run and play and b

e a happy carefree doggie’s. Our dog boarding facility is 3,600 square feet and consists of 50 inside climate controlled suites. The space is heated with in-floor radiant heating in the winter and cooled with evaporative cooling in the summer and has numerous windows for natural light. The owner of the facility maintains a personal residence on the property for 24 hour supervision. The facility also provides three large separate outdoor play areas for the dogs to run and play in an outside supervised environment during the day.

Our Story

Welcome to Rocky Mountain Kennels, located in Longmont, Colorado. We offer dog boarding and doggy day care. Our mission is to provide a safe, clean and positive environment for our guests and customers. We strive to maintain competitive pricing and offer outdoor playtime for all dogs with no extra charge. The owner of Rocky Mountain Kennels is Jeff Childs, who is dedicated to getting to know all of our guests and customers personally, and providing the best care for all.

Our dog boarding and day care facility is 3,600 square feet and consists of 48 individualized 4x6 kennel runs, as well as 11 outdoor fenced play yards with plenty of space for running and playing. Our facility is fully insulated. Our floors are heated with radiant heating in the winter, and our building uses evaporative cooling technology for summertime relief. 20 acres surround the facility and is owned by Jeff, who maintains a personal residence on the property to be close by in case of emergency.
