Slow Down Sundays at BHR are all about pausing with purpose, whatever that looks like each week.

Copper Penny in Estes Park gave us the perfect backdrop for a weekend full of personal growth, unforgettable teamwork, and true horsemanship- topped off with plenty of laughs and friendship along the way!

Congratulations to:

🎉 Ravyn Alexander piloted Lauren Breidenbach’s New Girl to Champion both weeks in the Children’s Equitation Division, with a clean sweep in Week II! Ravyn also placed 2nd in the CHJA Jr. Medal 🥈 and earned an impressive 4th place in the Equitation Flat Classic!

🌟 Lauren Breidenbach rode New Girl to Adult Amateur Hunter Champion, winning 3 of the 4 over-fences rounds! 🏆

💕 I’Lia Cornell and Tracey Castle’s Quaya Plaisir had a solid week, winning rounds in both the Stirrup Hunter and Equitation divisions, finishing as Stirrup Hunter Reserve Champion! I’Lia also won the Stirrup Equitation Classic 🥇 and placed 2nd in the Stirrup Hunter Classic! 🥈

✨ Julia Thomas showed BHR’s M.V.P. to top-three finishes in both the Stirrup Hunter and Equitation. She also earned 2nd place in the Stirrup Equitation Classic! 🥈

Great weekend at NVRHA WY!

We saw so much growth this weekend and that’s always the priority!

🏆Alida and her gelding TS SUGAR SHOT BAY stepped up their game and won Champion in the Novice Amateur Division!

🏆 Lily and her gelding One Special Gunner won Champion in the Youth Novice Division!

🏆 Avery and her gelding Ziggy deserve the title of Most Improved fulfilling the entire Novice Amateur Division for the very first time! Beyond proud of the progress this team is making!

It’s National Ice Cream Day 🍦 and our Program Director loved that today’s Slow Down Sunday came with a built-in theme! Ice creams (and popsicles!) are in the freezer, BHR crew, go grab a treat and enjoy a sweet little moment to slow down. 😎

Ravyn Alexander and Lauren Breidenbach’s mare, New Girl, won the CHJA Junior Medal with an impressive score of 83! The pair also took Champion in the Children’s Equitation and finished second in the Colonel Roberts Equitation Medal.

We’re looking forward to next week when the rest of the BHR team joins in!

Mid-day leadline class? Say less. 💖🐴
Sure, scheduling it during nap time might’ve been a bold move... but the smiles, giggles, and small fry high-fives made it totally worth it.
Big love to our pint-sized riders and the absolute saint ponies who carried them like royalty. You’re the real MVPs.

Also... if anyone’s missing a size XXS dinosaur helmet… Joe says it fits just fine. 😎🦖 😂 We love a good sport.

What a day!☀️🏅

Huge smiles, great rides, and lots of ribbons at our July home show this weekend. We couldn’t be prouder of every rider who came out and gave it their all!

Thank you to our barn family, horses, helpers, and cheering squads. You all make these days something special.

Next stop: our final summer series show on August 3rd — we can’t wait!
