Don’t forget that when you’re walking your dog this summer, they don’t have the same protection on their feet that you do. 🐾

Check the temperature before you head outside. If it’s too hot, keep walks short and stick to grassy areas, avoiding pavement and asphalt when possible. Do your best to take long walks during the cooler parts of the day such as early morning or evening. 🌙

And remember, protect those paws! Winter weather staples like Mushers Secret or Bag Balm are a good way to help moisturize, heal, and protect paw pads in the summer, too.

Bruce and Sue Thompson & Kim Thompson Ferrell are the founders and operators of C No Pet-Fence. Together with their staff, they install and service the Chicago Land and Southern Wisconsin areas. C No Pet Fence is the premier supplier of DogWatch Hidden Fences and customer service all brands in the market they serve.

C No Pet-Fence has been in business for 25 ½ years. We currently serve over 15,000 customers in the greater Chicago area and Southern Wisconsin. The ratio is 1.67 dogs per household, so we estimate that these customers represent over 2,500 dogs we have successfully trained to the system.

We currently have ten full-time employees, we do not hire "contract" labor - all of our staff is fully trained. Combined, our staff represents over 100 years in the industry.
