Our very first adoption through Humane Society of Forsyth County, GA and it's a big one—121 pounds of big!

Cooper (formerly Reggie) is a Boxer-Rottie and who-knows-what-else mix of a fella. He just joined Chris, retired Air Force, and his family's resident dog.

Thank you Humane Society of Forsyth County for this memorable first adoption together, and for waiving adoption fees for our veterans and Gold Star spouses!

Congrats to Sadie and her new mom Pari, Army veteran, on passing the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizenship test!

Joseph retired from the Army after more than a decade in service, including two tours to Afghanistan. Like other war veterans, he struggles with social anxiety and mostly keeps to himself.

Not anymore.

A few days ago he adopted Raven, another unwanted shelter dog looking for hope and a home.

Joseph took Raven on a nearby trail where he usually rides his e-bike. But not on that day.

The pair walked through the trails together. "I've never actually walked through there and talked with people before today."

This is the power of companion pet adoption. Our mission helps people save pets and pets save people.
