Did you know more pets go missing on and around 4th of July? Loud noises can be really scary for our fur babies!

The best ways to prepare:
•Keep your pets indoors in a calming room and turn on the TV or music to help drown out the noise.
•Make sure your pet has a collar and/or microchip Information is correct.
•Make sure you have calming medication on hand if needed and to give the medication way before the fireworks start so it will start to work.
•Use a baby gate to block doorways they can sneak out of.

These are just a few of many ideas to help you pets safe and secure for the 4th!

🚨 Lepto alert! 🚨

Leptospirosis is a serious bacterial disease that can lead to life-threatening kidney and liver failure. Dogs can become infected with Leptospirosis by coming into contact with an infected dog, infected urine, or indirectly through water, soil, food, and bedding. Carriers of Leptospirosis are animals such as rats, mice, raccoons, opossums, and squirrels. Leptospirosis is a zoonotic disease which means it can be passed from dogs to humans.

Awareness and early intervention are key! Please share this information with other pet owners and contact us if you want to start the Lepto vaccine series! 🐾
