Established in 1989, Sitter Downs Horse Boarding & Arena offers 130 acres of cross fenced pastures with a rotational grazing program for our mixed herd of mares and geldings. We are just aross the road from Blue & Gray Equestrian Park, 1700+ acres of equine trails.
12 miles from Lee’s Summit, MO off of 50 Hwy.
15 min south of I-70.
40 min southeast from Kans

(NO discounts for multiple horses.) Treated for dust.
• Pastures well maintained with fertilizer and weed control.
• Supply hay during winter.
• Locked tack rooms and personal feed storage.
• Herd deworming.
• Stalls for injuries and daily doctoring.
• 50ft round pen with sand footing. Trail Horse Training & Sales. Equine events such as seminars, tack swaps and clinics held year round. We do offer some overnight boarding for travellers. Please call Kelly for more info for overnights featuring covered stalls and 30 amp sites. Cabin that sleeps 5. We have a very active barn with lots of people to ride with. Your 2025 Miss Odessa Rodeo Queen Mila Turpin said:

"Running for rodeo queen gave me the opportunity to represent the sport I love while inspiring others to get involved in rodeo. I wanted to show younger kids and my community the dedication, sportsmanship, and passion that rodeo stands for. One of my favorite memories was traveling to Iowa with my cousin for parades and rodeo queening events. Those experiences made the journey even more special and reminded me how much I enjoy being part of the rodeo community."

Packets, headshots and sponsorship money are due June 5th. Be sure to reach out to KD Butler or Victoria Wilson with any questions or to turn in your contestant packet.
