Perts Pups hi... i'm pert... and this is pert's puppy farm... otherwise known as pertnipupsallover... we raise yorkies, shih-tzu and some yorkie-shih-tzu crosses...

pert's puppy farm involves the care and breeding of yorkies, shih-tzu, shorkies and morkies and an occasional litter of morshies... we also have a scottie, a lab mix, a great pyrenees, 1 cat, 14 guinea fowl and a horse to round out the crew... the scottie, lab, pyrenees, and horse are all rescues...

So..... I had some kids I know bring by these pups.... ostensibly pure beagle... with first shot and worming... all 4 ...

i send this song out to an old friend who left here yesterday and as a tribute to all my precious children out under the apple tree that didnt get a song to send them on their way... and to all of you my friends.. who must walk that last mile.. with a fuzzy four footed child you love...

maggie she flies with the angels today
the good Lord came and took her away

i saw sophie.. scout's female pup from final litter here on the farm.. the other day... i can only hope that all my kids ended up so well... and that all my children... wherever they may be... are as better off as the ones i kept now that not tied to producing pups for a living... if i'd continued i'd have died and so would have my dear ones... thank the dear Lord for opening my eyes and giving us all a chance at a new life... and thank you all for your support and kindness over the years...

Need person who can now & w**d eat to high standards... and be able to drive a nail!!!! Employer has no quit button so some days will have long hours. Be prepared to work!!!! Must have transportation!!! And have sense enuf to pack your lunch!!!!.. call William at 859-536-0438 or 606-770-5006.

Our Story

pert's puppy farm used to involve the care and breeding of yorkies, shih-tzu, shorkies and morkies... but after the wear and tear on the dogs and me and the life it sucked out of us all... i knew things had to change... and had to change in a big way... so i talked to london vet clinic... who have loved and cared for my dogs for years... and they recommended a rescue outfit... and i knew in my heart when i called... i was doing the best thing for my children and me even tho it was the hardest thing i’ve ever had to do in my life... it was a life changing decision... standing up and saying ... enuf is enuf... i can choose which course my life will take... but it was hard deciding which kids would go and which would stay... and then watching the rescue folks take my children away... i still cant look at pictures in my phone without crying... sometimes even coming to this page brings me tears... knowing what i loved and lost... but i also know... i did the very best thing for my kids... they are all spayed and neutered now... in loving homes... one of my older yorkies whose health was at risk is now dancing aging and wearing dressing like a queen... how could i be unhappy about that????

Soooooo.... when pert’s puppy farm gets cleared of all the debris associated with having been puppified for all these years... the critters and i will make way for more rescues around here... we already have some... and i’ll be helping the rescue people who were so much help to me... finding homes for my dogs... feeding me when i was hungry... even feeding my dogs... i cant do enuf to repay them for saving me and my dogs... for now ... we are closed... trying to regroup and clean up around here...
