Stole this from another page. Very spot onπ
Until you have harvested honey you do not understand the hard work behind getting that liquid gold into a bottle and on shelves.
My happiest moments of being a decent beekeeper is when I see folks smile when they get a bottle of our honey. They just light up and it seems to make all of the hard, hot & sticky work seem just a bit worth itππ―π―
Many see a jar of honey and think it's just another product.. π―π
But very few people imagine what a beekeeper really goes through during a harvest.
There are days when it's so hot...
that suit seems to burn inside π₯΅ π₯
Sweat runs non stop.
Legs are shaky from tiredness.
The lifts are getting heavier.
And there comes a moment where the body feels it can no longer go on.
There are crops where you literally want to pass out.
And yet...
The beekeeper is raising another high again.
It's reloading.
Re-enter among thousands of bees.
Because behind every drop of honey there are not just bees working...
π There is also human sacrifice.
π Extreme fatigue.
π Stings.
π Hours in the sun.
π And an effort that almost no one can imagine.
And maybe that's why only those who have worked with bees really understand the value of honey ππ―β¨
Because you don't just harvest honey...
You also harvest exhaustion, passion and love for this world that often few value π₯
π¬ Did you imagine all that a beekeeper can endure during a harvest?
