🐾 I'm a Comfort Groomer, and Here's What That Means to Me. ❤️
When your dog comes to me, my biggest concern isn't giving them the perfect haircut. It's making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they're here.
I'm not going to force a dog to do something that's causing them unnecessary stress just to make a haircut look perfect. If they don't like the dryer, we'll find another way. If they need a break, they get one. And if either one of us is getting frustrated, we'll take a minute and try again.
I truly believe dogs have feelings and bad days just like we do. Your dog might do wonderful for one grooming appointment and not want anything to do with it the next time. And that's okay!
Sometimes that means grooming takes a little longer. Sometimes that means the haircut isn't quite as perfect as I'd like. But I'd much rather send home a happy dog with a few uneven hairs than a stressed-out dog with a perfect haircut.
I groom one dog at a time because I want each one to have my full attention. I'm not in a race to see how many dogs I can get done in a day.
At the end of the day, I treat your babies the way I'd want someone to treat mine. With patience, kindness, and understanding.
A perfect haircut will grow out, but a bad grooming experience can stay with a dog. ❤️🐶
And that's why I do things the way I do. 🐾
